In the case of rage, it usually depends on the rage. If it's something genuinely funny, like a bug or glitch or some unforeseen game mechanic that causes somebody to die or lose, then it's hilarious (Look up Super Kaizo World, you can play that game and beat a level but still die and have to restart it. If you watch videos of people playing it for the first time, it's ****ing hilarious). If (like for NFF) it's because somebody lost even after being soundly defeated (like with Hyuuga, Moon and getting beaten by literally every weapon in the game) and their *****ing at the time is pretty much unwarranted, then it's hilarious. But for the most part it gets really dull after a while and its entertainment value goes away. Like if you were to watch any particular stand-up by a comedian you like, it's funny the first time, and maybe the second or third time. But if you spend all day watching it, or watch it every day for a long time, it's probably not going to be as funny anymore. At least, that's how I see it. Rage, particularly in NFF is not really all that funny to me anymore because I had to deal with so many people raging at me or somebody else when it's very likely just an issue with them that they can't see or want to deal with. And I ended up being desensitized to it. |

Forgot to mention this. Another reason Ryuuka is confirmed homosexual. |

Sorry, I'm not going to be defensive about it like Kiruzon. But I do want to point out this part of what you said:
Because that's essentially how I stopped finding rage funny. Seeing it occasionally is one thing, but being constantly bombarded by it makes me just want to play the single player or whatever. |

Pretty sure that's the number 1 reason Battlefield 3 doesn't allow cross-team chat. Never heard an argument break out on Battlefield 3. |

Rage on NFF is the best. . . Just look at that one guy who was like "I'm going to tell on you on facebook". How isn't that funny. . .

I also don't care for the new generation of graphics either. The current consoles have so much more potential and that's been shown with almost every decent game release, which the Wii-U will demonstrate. Of course in a few years I have no doubt we will look back and be astounded by the comparison as we are with the PS2/PS3, but a lot of styles have been used that don't fade away. Such as cell shaded, pixel, comic sketch and so on. Zelda, Naruto games, Walking Dead Arcade, Borderlands as examples. @Fox= The constant bitching on NFF isn't that funny. It happens more than hourly. I turned my OOC off years ago and only turn it on if people I want to talk to are on. |

No lie though. I already checked the Bandai Facebook walls and I saw no complaints about some illegal Nerutu game saling bijews. ); |

Man Fallen, you've missed so many good conversations. I'm going to have to start quoting more stuff just for you to read. |

I'll have to keep a good look out for more Marcus as my first project. The things he says are just so crazy. It's like Nightheart defending Flame Maintenance but better. . . |

I remember Dawg saying you can be gay one day, then straight the next. @Stryke= Get on Dota 2 sometime. Just takes a few games to learn to play, plus I'll help you out. Halo and BF3 were quiet, but we did party for the most part. Even if you're in a Skype call you can still hear people over PS3 or PC. |

I absolutely hate computer gaming though, taking a break from V4 for a few days...I can't stand being over a keyboard....and if I would hate playing shooters on PC because I would gimp myself plugging a control....I play multiplayer to relax and have fun, and I don't rage and stuff at all but that doesn't mean I don't want to do good. I really hope consoles don't give in to mouse and keyboard support easily for shooters.... Edited by Stryke, Apr 24 2013, 11:38 PM.

Dota 2 isn't a shooter and you don't need to do good. Even when you lose you have like the same chance to unlock items which are outfits for your characters. You're getting on tomorrow. With us on a team, there's no losing no matter how bad you are like every other game. I'll carry you on my big manly arm shoulders. |
