"“These scientists brought an animal from the Jurassic age back to life – just to watch it suffer!” she said.

But Dr. Trudell doesn’t seem to be bothered by the activists’ quibbling. He says that the opportunities afforded by dinosaur cloning are endless.

Within ten years, we could repopulate the world with dinosaurs,” he said. “We could harvest them for civic service, law enforcement, or even mass transportation.”

“Imagine riding to work on a dinosaur,” he continued. “Wouldn’t that be incredible?”

As of press time, the dinosaur is in stable condition. Scientists plan to run more tests on him today."

Yes it is. That site is full of bullshit all over the place. There's a picture of bigfoot to submit your own article, the ads to the sides are of zombie presidents, the comments are about Illuminati and God.

Pretty sure dinosaurs will never come back because they lived so long ago the DNA is now "too old". But mammoths can possibly come back though ;o

The DNA is far too degraded. If by some chance they found dinosaur DNA frozen in tree sap like in the movie, which would be astonishingly lucky and outside of any probability, then they might be able to reproduce some of the biological aspects of it, but its unlikely they'd have a living creature close enough to a dinosaur to harbour the eggs and naturally develop them. We don't have the technology right now to artificially do this, which is why they are using an elephant to resurrect the mammoth.

Even when they are capable of doing this, chances are they may only ever resurrect one or two kinds of dinosaurs, if any ever at all. Jurrassic Park is just an unrealistic fairy tale that is impossible. There's 0 chance you'd find the preserved DNA of that many different species of dinosaurs and be able to perfectly restore them and replicate them.

I don't see too much being impossible technology wise. There is an interesting theory that black holes are lost life and civilizations. As in eventually they advanced far enough to create their own demise. Which will be inevitable if we don't have a stopping point in technology. I don't doubt someday we can have a device that simply creates a black hole or clone dinosaurs. Technology surprises us every time and so quickly, too. Nobody imagined we would have what we do not even a century ago. To think, we're even advancing quicker and quicker.

I think the mammoth thing is kinda cool. I wouldnt say theyre ever gonna repopulate dinosaurs. But it would be kinda cool to see a mammoth.

Well science already figured out how to teleport electrons over huge distances.

I'm not talking about moving at the speed of light. They actually figured out how to transport electrons without that electron traveling any distance at all. It simply existed in one place, then in another completely different place without having moved at all.

It may seem so that I can't see
But the darkness provides the light for me
