You're wrong. It's actually lacks realism. You can learn all elements - Not Anime/Manga accurate You can basically be good in all forms of combat (Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu) - Not very accurate. Katon doesn't cancel out Fuuton, Nor Raiton to Doton, Nor Suiton to Katon (You get the point) - Unrealistic in itself. You'r character is always running. :| - Who the f**k can run throught an entire fight? You buy you'r passives, rather then TRAIN them. - Some BS.. Can't think of much more.. |

NFF used to do all these things. Going to address your points though. 1. Yes, you technically can in the series. BUT it takes a long time to learn and master an element...as in, 20 years to master a single element. Most people with three or more elements in the series had it as a result of a kekkei genkai (or transplant thereof), being a genius (And yet everybody who plays NFF thinks their character is a genius), or had a special jutsu that helped them (Kakuzu). 2. You technically can. Doesn't mean you're going to be suited for it though (Meaning you're probably going to have a natural disposition for one of the three forms), but you can always be like Orochimaru or Itachi and be beast at all of them. 3. Yeah, that's BS. 4. Kinda BS, but NFF used to be like this, back in the first few eras, before NFF V3/AoTS 5. NFF was like this during part of V3/AoTS until around early January last year. But this is also BS. |

1. I'm talking about the progression. In GOA, my method was to train till level 20, then spend all my Skill Points on Passives and Jutsu. I use that to buy all elements..I'm pretty much set for the rest of the game. 2. Exactly.. it always comes down to you being sucky at atleast one of those traits. Kakashi is only good at these three because of his Sharingan. Itachi sucks at Taijutsu imo. Naruto sucks at Tai and Gen. Lee Sucks at Nin, and Gen. TenTen sucks at Tai and Gen. It's all a pattern. In GOA you have the oppertunity to be godly at ALL of those. While in NFF its impossible. |

Itachi: Nin - 5 Tai - 4.5 Gen - 5 Int - 5 Str - 3.5 Spe - 5 Sta - 2.5 Seals - 5 His taijutsu is beast. It's at LEAST as good as Asuma's, who also has a 4.5 in taijutsu. |

I think that's considering his Sharingan which boosted physical attributes. |

This game use to have a system like GOA. The reason why the leveling system was taken out was because for the life of me, I hate it. But it's pure preference. We are the only game on BYOND that has a system like that and I'm embarrassed to show it like this until Ninpo comes out, because this system deserves better and the full fledged passive system will show that. Leveling is not the best way to go at things, especially in a PvP game, because that means any "no lifer" could destroy someone simply by being a no lifer. That's not skill. I hated when I was lv.20 owning everyone in GOA, but because they were 80 levels higher than me my damage was too little to actually hurt them and they hit me once and they win. That's not skill. I don't understand how anyone can think that's skill but that's how things are. I can understand a system like that for Bleach. But Naruto series is a series where anyone can kill anyone. It's not like Kages are lv.100 and suddenly they get an impervious armor that blocks them from kunai compared to the lv.1 genin wh oget hit with a kunai and instantly die. No, systems like these make lazy players. NFF Players are naturally gonna be better at fighting in any game, because NFF makes it so you're NOT lazy. All these OP moves you have to dodge, it's like that in the actual Naruto series. You're put on the suspense 100% of the time. You're NOT lazy at any time, because ANYONE can beat you. Even someone unskilled, you STILL have to look out for moves they do. This makes it so only skilled people can amazingly own people without even trying (Ryuuka or Hawk for example.) Not just one punch, dead. |

When i play GOA i get bored within 30 minutes of gameplay. I look at the fat characters on GOA and compare them to nff and laugh. Wonder how they feel about this discusion. Edited by Rainbow, Nov 21 2010, 04:33 PM.

And actually, I've had round 6-7 of my GOA friends play this. They rarely ever play GOA now. I do play GOA sometimes when NFF is down though, I usually go akimichi because they are RAPISTs in the dojo. |

Rofl. If you're really going to say GOA is better than NFF coding wise, You must've not seen the source loool. |

It is even Argon said it was. Stop talking you don't know anything. Masterdan is a genious who left his game. No source compares to Goa. That's that, also consider when Goa was made. Masterdan was waaay ahead of his time. |
