Ok.. if some noob commits suicide, only to keep their bounty.. are you allowed to revive him? and then kill them? because, if not, that's total bull shit.. >_>
Trying to learn a bit of Moonrunes... I've decided that 赤眼付 is now the official spelling for Akametsuki. Basically means "Red Eyes", though, it kinda also means "Expression of the eyes"

Have every right to revive and then kill them again if they commit suicide. But that's a cool way of keeping secrets.

"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE MY STUFF! -commits suicide-"
-wakes up an hour later-
"Where am I?"
"So about that stuff..."

Killing yourself should be banndable?

The above is a sign of a noob.

Although it is a very un noble way to go. It should not be, as it could be a accident.

Why would it be bannable -_-. I commit suicide on my alts with gates because I dont want to loose the money or I just dont want the guy getting the kill o-o.

Actually in feudal japan if a warrior walked away from a battle with nither winner dieing. Or if a samurai was defamed, or about to be struck down by a weak apponent, he would commit HaraKiri(Suicide) plungeing the sword through their bellies. :)

But thats besides the point. Honestly, suicide should omit ones bounty, since in turn hes still dead however noone gets the money. and hes given a clean slate...It stops watermelons of bounties on both ends, a kill should be worked for, your just being revived and merked by some kid who threw a fit about you suiciding... 8)

I like corpses idea actually. Maybe a new idea would be that there should be a bounty npc too. And you actually needed to get the body back to the bounty man, a lot like the S rank missions. Or to make the bounty system more smooth if it did change to my idea when you killed someone you collect their head. And you can collect as many as you want until you turn them all in...just an idea though.

EDIT: Instead of killing them to get the head, just walking up to a corpse with a bounty and maybe be given a "Collect Head" verb or something. Cause when people suicide you may not have got the head according to what I said earlier.

I have to admit, when you get a huge bounty, you really don't want to lose it, i think that warrants suicide. However the only ultimately legit reason to commit suicide is when an enemy has an S rank mission out on you, the purpose of their mission is to collect your body so they can extract information from the body, so you kill yourself and the information with it. A cool feature would be if you got a message when someone that had an s rank mission on you entered your village telling you that they have. Not the full name but like "A Rain/Leaf/Sound/Rock ninja has entered your village in search of you, be on your guard!"

Funny how you are, in a way, saying it shouldn't be bannable because YOU do it. .-.

But regardless, why would it be bannable? I'd be pissed as hell if that happened to me...which it has. But regardless, I'd still revive and kill them (Usually when they suicide though they don't have low willpower which may or may not be a good thing o-O).
