When you create the char you create it with the variables so should be in the same mob creation thing.
Code:

mob
icon = 'person.dmi'
var
hp = 10
str = 5
def = 2

Ps Did you even read the tutorial its like the 1st thing you learn.

lol.. You set the variables as Tosen said.
Trying to learn a bit of Moonrunes... I've decided that 赤眼付 is now the official spelling for Akametsuki. Basically means "Red Eyes", though, it kinda also means "Expression of the eyes"

>> you indent with tab.. =/
we can't show it on here, cause if you hit tab on a browser, it skips to a differnt object on the page. and the Person.dmi thing, you change to the icon you have..

<.< This is why I hate byonds coding so picky.
Arasu you have to type that you can't copy and paste it since the forums doesnt have the indent thing so isn't read right.

Ps Dm needs wavy brackets.
Wavy brackets>indents.

Stats.dm:5:error: str: undefined var

Undefined means the variables null or its returning nothin

Stats.dm:6:error: def: undefined var

Same error was str

Remember, start slowly rather than charge in full force. The manual and the reference pages are a lifesaver. DM can and WILL frustrate/piss you off. Also, if you don't want the stats to be called "str" and things like that, just replace the names of them.

<.< You can't even get 3 variables to work and you want advance ones and theres kinda no such thing as advance vars there pretty much all like that except you might have vars in vars like def +=amor.

the only "advance" stats you could do would be variables which all have some effect on each other under conditions... which isn't hard>> assuming you can get the simple 3 variables above >_>
