"2 + 2 = 4 Fable + Leap of Faith = Atheist Fable" This is not what is happening, it is incorrect. Using 2 + 2 = 4 would mean that Fable has actually taken the leap and became atheist. At present it would be 2 + ? = ???? Which again means, he isn't an atheist. Just because you are trying to be something, and going to be something does not mean you are that something. A charmelon is not a charzard. Edited by Fox, Jul 4 2013, 01:03 AM.

There are no opinions involved in this Twist. If someone doesn't fit the definition of what they are saying, they are not that definition. Your argument is completely non existent. Edited by Fox, Jul 4 2013, 01:06 AM.

My argument is not that he is an Atheist my argument is that he shouldn't be ostracized for what he is saying about his belief. |

I am not ostracizing him. I am saying he isn't an atheist because he isn't an atheist. What are you talking about. |

I called Fable dumb because of his stupidity, not because of his beliefs. His constant contradictions, not being limited to religion. I've stated this before. I've stated all I've said about five times to go in those repeated circles. Fox didn't antagonize in anyway that I saw, though. |

And even then, he can still be looked as that because he is claiming to be something he isn't. |

By the way I think this is your type of song amirite? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml1oJb-uswo Yeah, I was just replying to you cause you were the one replying to me. Hahaha I'll stop now. Alright one last post, although it is probably useless at this point. I respect Fable. I believe that even in pretending to be something, you slowly become that which you are pretending to be. Descartes implored all true Christians to follow religion as best they could before taking this Leap of Faith: even if he didn't consider those followers of Christianity as true Christians, since he also believed that they had doubts about what God truly was all about, he still encouraged them to "pretend" until they were ready to take this Leap of Faith. If Fable considers himself to be Atheist, but still believes in the possibility of existence of something he doesn't believe in ( I know it sounds silly ) then that is perhaps a good stepping stone, or place, for him to evaluate his belief until eventually, he is ready to completely abandon any room for possibility and embrace cold faith. Then again, he might not. Sometimes, erasing all other possibilities is a very hard thing to do. Perhaps it is not even the right thing to do. But some do it all the same, perhaps Fable will be one of them. So yeah, don't knock off his stepping stone. Edited by Twist, Jul 4 2013, 01:30 AM.

So from what I've gathered in these 8 pages, Fable is an atheist according to his own definition, but only his own and not the one which has been agreed upon? |
