AND ALL THE NOBLES HAVE ONE OUTFIT!!!!

This seriously bothers me. Every time the Queen is on screen, I want to scream, "PUT ON A DIFFERENT DRESS, DAMN YOU! You're the freaking Queen of France! You probably have a hundred dresses!!"

The only time anyone has worn different clothes is when d'Eon and Robin "dressed down". Even then they just changed their frock coats. Because wearing dark blue obviously means you aren't well-off.

Maybe they have several sets of clothes, but they are all the same design. Instead of spending time picking out clothes, they could figure out why a guy who was burned by a cross later shows up wielding the word of God without negative consequences

Best conversation ever.

Ah well.

Awkward dialogue aside, the Psalm use is annoyingly generic. And it's just that one Psalm! What, is it a literary equivalent of a Swiss Army Knife?

On d'Eon, his personality seems... weak (poor word choice, but I'm not sure how to summarize it). He appears to have a sense of conviction, but seems to have difficulty with using force (and as a knight... seems slightly conflicting). Not that I'm saying he should be all "Kill! Kill!" or the like, but a little more back bone, maybe? Or is that completely Lia's purpose...

Well if he's going to suck, at least he has a kid with a gun to help him out.

But as a main character he needs to suck less. If this keeps up, it might just be better off for Lia to take control of d'Eon's body for the long run and stop the forces of evil before they use the Swiss Army Psalm.

Ahhh... one can dream. Until then, let the sucking continue!

d'Eon: Will he do anything to save France or anything just to wear a dress?

"You know d'Eon, the Masquerade was 3 days ago. You can take the dress off."
"I know Master, but you never know when it could come in handy again."

Seriously, though, why the hell did he have the dress with him in the first place? No argument will convince me there was a reasonable explanation for taking it with.

On a more serious note: does anyone have a full copy of what they keep refering to as the psalm of vengeance/revenge? I can't remember the full thing and want to see if it's based loosely off a single psalm, a really loose compilation of psalms, or something else not in the Book of Psalms.

I found a thread made by the guys that fansubbed the series. While I don't remember if they were word-for-word the same as in the series, they do list the psalm numbers and lines that specific parts were taken from; broken down from episode to episode. Warning! They mentioned spoilers, but each post is for a different episode so read ahead at your own risk:
