The thing that goes bump in the night
The Downtown district catered to just about everyone. Italian, Asian, Spanish, and Mediterranean districts boast culinary delights to satisfy even the most sophisticated palette; Artist's Lofts, Studio Apartments, Penthouse Suites, and Youth Hostels popped up anywhere you may want to live; Fashion burrows, Technology boutiques, Niche entertainment, you name it, it was here somewhere. So, where else would you find MHS's resident connoisseur of all things, well, all things in existence?

This was Darrien's favorite place to wander. He was never out of place in his lavish dress, he never had to walk more than a block to get a latte or a cupcake, and he was never short on things to look at. As he walked down the street, one hand in the pocket of his charcoal slack, the other tipping the last of a latte into his mouth, he saw a building that had fallen into disrepair. Who wouldn't approach such an out of place building?

A cool breeze blowing his hair back, but that wasn't what stopped the youth in his tracks. A massive, glowing sign atop the building had come to life, flashing two words that had all but disappeared from modern society:

LASER TAG

Eyes open wide, jaw gaping open, Darrien dropped his coffee cup and gawked a moment. Regaining his composure, he fished in his jacket pocket for his Aeon and tapped out a quick message to Devlin, Emerald, Amber, Noscirm, Mitsuko, and everyone else he knew:

{I've found something truly amazing at these coordinates, you ought to join me if you can. Pass it along.} it said, with a picture of the sign included. This was going to be epic.

Come at Me, Bro!
Dayne had been.. not in her room. Somewhere else. Because the ants lived in her room now, it meant Ant was there and while it was interesting to study him sometimes, sometimes she wanted to do things without feeling like a bunch of tiny drones were watching her...

waiting for her guard to drop...

It meant it was even HARDER to concentrate then normal and she'd never get to the bottom of this Aeon if that was going on, so she'd found a nook in the library and was doing a good, proper mind sweep of it.

{I've found something truly amazing at these coordinates, you ought to join me if you can. Pass it along.}

Her eyes flickered open as that particular message stood out from the usual haze of data. Huh. MHS student, obviously. The coordinates were a good giveaway there, since who else would give coordinates? Her attention now caught, Dayne paused her examination of the Aeon and thought hard. Should she drop in? Just to see what it was that was so amazing? Or should she just look up the coordinates online? Laser Tag was common enough. Was this one special? With real lasers maybe? Or laser bots?

Or both?

Fuck it. Dayne clutched her phone and teleported.

Waiting for the travel sickness to go away, she looked around at where she was. There was the sign and there... was the swimmer dude. Darrien. "Hi," she waved, and even curved her mouth into a smile. "I intercepted your message. Curiosity." She looked around, scuffing one sneaker against the pavement as she stuffed her hands into the pockets of her jeans. She was obviously not one to be fussed if he told her it was a friends only thing, looking around with interest. It was very busy around here, and her eyes kept flickering as she picked up signals and texts bouncing off satellites. It was hard to focus.
