It was the first time ever in her time spent at this school that Aki came to the gym. Confident enough that this place, well equipped with exercise gear, would suit the requirements for her to continue her training. Sandbags, weights... This place was paradise for when it came to her training. Not wasting any time, she set down her small navy blue tote bag that had her water, training gloves, and two towels to clear up perspiration within it. Sighing to herself contentedly, Aki soon started to prepare herself for her daily work out by selecting her padded gloves, which were black in color, and slid them over her slender hands accordingly; those tan, slim fingers poking out of the five holes that were cut out for them. Clapping her hands together and pressing her fingers between each other, she checked the comfort level of the gloves before flashing a satisfied smile. They were just right when it came to fitting. "Alright... Let's say we hit the sand bag first. I need to see if my punches, kicks, and other such things are still in the shape they're supposed to be in." Aki mumbled to herself as those bronzed legs kicked into motion, bringing the young girl to her destination swiftly. Standing before the heavy, red sandbag that was suspended by a chain from it's frame, Aki paused a moment. Then, taking a deep breath, she lashed out with her right leg and kicked the center of the sandbag directly. The sheer force of the blow caused the sandbag to fly backwards, the chain rattling from the force of the blow. Even though the kick was more than satisfactory she didn't relent; following the kick with spinning one with her left leg, her body twisting to gain momentum for the second strike. Sighing a bit as the sandbag, still swinging from the force of the two blows, slowed down to a stop, the snowy haired martial artist slumped her shoulders. "Only half of the strength I'm used to... I seriously need to get back into training." Aki spat a bit hatefully at herself. Normally she would've been able to break the sandbag clear off the chain with the first blow... That she couldn't even after landing a second one with added momentum was just unforgivable. Sighing heavily yet again, the young martial artist sat down upon the floor near her bag dejectedly. Not only was she going to need more weight training, but also a partner to spar with... And finding someone like that would be a miracle. |

White hair was cropped short to her head, her ears poking out to either side of her head as she walked into the gym. She was often found here, and a lot of the guys who worked out regularly enjoyed the female's body as she jogged and worked out. However, the gym was mostly empty today, odd for the area really, and she tested the air as she stepped in. Stale sweat and...oh what is this... a female scent? Very strange. Her body was barely clothed if you really thought about it, a hot pink and black sports bra held her more then large chest firmly so that it wouldn't be uncomfortable to run or jump, and a pair of matching shorts hugged her rump as she walked. Her tail flicked from side to side as she quietly manuvered through the area, her nose testing the air. The wolf demoness was silent as she walked, her bare feet not making any sounds as she moved around the room, searching out the girl who was here. Then, the sound of the sandbag caught her attention and her ears flicked upwards, eyes turning in that direction and noticing the girl. Her form was impressive, and the wolf girl smirked, noticing it was that girl who seemed to not like canines from her History class. How conveniant. This took out the whole stalking part. Good. The sandbag slowed to a halt after a short time and the wolf continued to watch Aki, interested. "Only half of the strength I'm used to... I seriously need to get back into training." The wolf smirked. Too easy. A howl would ring out across the room, echoing off the walls in the nearly empty room as the girl launched herself into the air and came down on the bag. One of her legs extended so she would hit the bag squarely. The chain groaned in protest then snapped, sending the bag smashing to the floor, exploding and sending a spray of dirt in a small half circle around the wolf. Her tail lashed, her head down, ears relaxed, then she looked up at Aki, a smile on her lips, her fangs peeking from her lip. "Hi." She smiled in a melodic, soprano voice, the sound sweet and innocent, despite the girl's rather unnerving looks. |

In the midst of her silent, worrisome thoughts, a howl rang throughout the empty gym, echoing off the walls with an eerie ring. In that moment, Aki froze. There was only one person she knew of who could howl like that: Karisuta... The wolf girl she was deathly afraid of in class. Why would she be here? Morning work out, perhaps? To Aki, it didn't matter. She was only afraid of one thing: That she'd be beaten soundly for invading the wolf demoness' usual territory. Shakily, the frightened human rose to look for the howler, only to not see her... On the ground that is. Her jump left her in awe. Could this be the strength of her species? If not, she must be one incredible martial artist or acrobat to pull that off. Those sapphire blue eyes widened as she watched her sail through the air and land a well aimed, strong kick to the sandbag she had just recently done the same to. Much to Aki's shame, the chained snapped and caused the bag to explode upon the floor; a very powerful kick indeed. By this little act, it was clear to see who the stronger was... And Aki didn't like it. Not one bit. Forgetting her fear for a solid minute or two, the slightly depressed martial artist simply looked at the destroyed sandbag with a painful look on her face. "Clearly I'm gonna need to increase my schedule a lot more than I originally thought... People here are freakin' mons-" She cut herself short before looking around and finding herself face to face with Karisuta. "Hi." Was she joking? A innocent tone coming out of a beast like that? Aki could only shake her head in attempt to quell the propagating fear in her gut. This girl could be dangerous if rubbed the wrong way. "Erm... Hi! I-I didn't know you came here, too... Karisuta, was it?" A hand went behind the girl's head, rubbing the back of that silky white haired noggin slowly. "I uhm... Was just trying to, uh... Train. You know, since like, I'm trying to carry on my family's martial style and all... What brings you here?" If there were any failed attempts at striking up a conversation, then this blew them all away. The canine girl would find that her "prey" reeked of fear and nervous perspiration. Obviously, her very presence was enough to instill fear in this human. Going quiet now for fear of angering the wolf demoness with too much idle prattle, the human took a few steps back, nearly tripping over her bag of equipment. |

She was amused by the look of awe on the human's face, wolf demons were tougher then humans but she'd already weakened the chain a bit so it was more showing off then anything else. "Clearly I'm gonna need to increase my schedule a lot more than I originally thought... People here are freakin' mons-" Her ears tipped forward, the wolf girl flicking her tail back and forth curiously as she rose from her crouched position on the now useless sandbag. The girl only stood a few inches taller then 5', not very tall at all, and when you didn't look at the corded muscles that would occasionally flex when she shifted her weight, she really didn't look very impressive. If one didn't count she had freaking fangs, claws, ears, and a tail. Well her eyes were pretty weird too, the colors constantly swirling around, almost hypnotic really. But that's not the point you know. "Erm... Hi! I-I didn't know you came here, too... Karisuta, was it?" "Mmmhmm. Karisuta Takahashi. You're Aki, right?" Her voice was soft, easy on the ears, but don't let it fool you too much, she was a BEAST when she needed to be. "I uhm... Was just trying to, uh... Train. You know, since like, I'm trying to carry on my family's martial style and all... What brings you here?" "Hnn? Carrying on the family traditions huh? Very noble, do you have wolf decent?" Of course the human didn't, she'd only met a handful of half human half wolves in her life, and they were typically a strange bunch. "Me? I train in here. My goal is to be able to take out a moose on my own before spring. So far I haven't been able to. But hunting big prey takes a lot of drive. You know?" She leaned towards Aki a bit, smiling enough to show her fangs, toying with the girl a bit. She was rank with fear, but she quelled her predator instincts for the moment, perhaps she wouldn't be so deathly scared when she realized that Kari didn't eat humans. As the girl stepped backwards she followed at the same pace, clasping her hands behind her back. "You're the girl who doesn't like canines huh?" She questioned innocently, flicking her tail back then forth. |

"Mmmhmm. Karisuta Takahashi. You're Aki, right?" Nodding slowly, she confirmed her identity for the wolf. Truth be told she didn't think it wise... I mean, who gives or confirms their name to an unknown, and potentially dangerous, stranger? Though, in thw wolf's defense, her soft, melodic voice was working wonders on Aki's image of her. The fear was still there, but not as heavy as it once was. "Correct. My name's Maekichi Aki. Maekichi is my surname, Aki being my first... And regardless what you hear from Abby, I'm not a youth stealer." Her voice sounded cheerful; forced, but cheerful nonetheless. Clenching and unclenching her gloved hands nervously, the shy girl's eyes then went downward to look at the floor. She had no idea where to look without worrying about upsetting the high class wolf demon's pride and, at the very least, Aki knew you should never look a beast in the eyes. She had only caught a glimpse of those swirling colored eyes before she had thrust her own downward. "Hnn? Carrying on the family traditions huh? Very noble, do you have wolf decent?" Wolf decent? Surely Kari would be able to smell her own kind on her if she was. At least that's what Aki thought when she had said that. Still, to answer the question given, the girl shook her head from side to side, signifying the answer as "No". "I don't think I am... I mean, there is a stance that I need to learn that has wolf in the title, due to it being a stance for speed as well as strength." Now she was embarrassed. That bit of fact could not have been any lamer to hear than it was to speak; surely the canine would find it either highly insulting or highly amusing. In light of this, Aki's shoulders slumped once again in habit with when she's embarrassed. "Me? I train in here. My goal is to be able to take out a moose on my own before spring. So far I haven't been able to. But hunting big prey takes a lot of drive. You know? "Ah well, I was taught when I was a bit younger that bigger opponents are tougher to take down, but if you use their own weight and body mass against them, you'll find a way to win... If that has any relevance to you at all." Offered the girl in an innocently generous tone, as if trying to help her intimidating interrogator. "Like, maybe if you got it into a smaller area or something... It'd have less of a chance to maneuver while you, a smaller person, would be able to?" By now, Aki was getting scared again. When she had taken a step back, the wolf followed... with her fangs showing. Even though it was a smile, the fangs brought back such fierce memories in Aki's mind of when she was younger. She had been chased by her neighbor's husky for wandering too close to the yard, and he was a big sucker, too. He had chased her all around the neighborhood before he finally got a hold of her. In that moment, Aki's fear of dogs was awakened and whenever she saw anything canine, be it a cute plush toy to a great, majestic wolf, she could only remember the horrendous snarls of that dog a few years ago. "You're the girl who doesn't like canines huh? When Kari had said that, Aki's eyes widened with surprise: she had remembered! Oh, she was so royally screwed now. "Erm... K-kinda... Yes." She stammered, her body now shrinking back against the wall as her fear was swiftly rekindled. Even if she didn't eat humans, Aki would still be so freaked out of her mind, that that thought would not register unless she was told so. "Di-did I offend you?" |

"Correct. My name's Maekichi Aki. Maekichi is my surname, Aki being my first... And regardless what you hear from Abby, I'm not a youth stealer." "Youth... stealer?" She looked confused, her tail pausing momentarily. "I don't know Abby, aside from the fact that she seems to like the history teacher a whole lot..." She admitted, tilting her head slightly. She didn't really know, but she was impressed that Aki kept her eyes averted. "I don't think I am... I mean, there is a stance that I need to learn that has wolf in the title, due to it being a stance for speed as well as strength." Karisuta chuckled quietly, the girl was so nervous. She sat down and leaned forward on her palms. She was less intimidating this way. "Ah well, I was taught when I was a bit younger that bigger opponents are tougher to take down, but if you use their own weight and body mass against them, you'll find a way to win... If that has any relevance to you at all. Like, maybe if you got it into a smaller area or something... It'd have less of a chance to maneuver while you, a smaller person, would be able to?" She tipped her head, looking thoughtful. "Well, you see. That would work except that Moose don't run from a single wolf, so it is impossible to herd it into such an area, and they tend to stay in open areas near large bodies of water. If you'd ever seen a moose, well you'd know how bad tempered they are. They put rabid squirrels to shame with their anger." She responded. However, when Kari asked about the canine hate the fear smell came back in force and she had to rub her nose against it. "Erm... K-kinda... Yes. Di-did I offend you?" This time she did laugh, shaking her head. She looked back to Aki after a second and pushed her hair from her eyes. "Wolves do not get offended by the thoughts of humans. If you don't like canines, there must be a reason. It's really not my concern you know." She giggled. "Though I do hope your opinions do not extend to me, after all, I don't bite." |

"Youth... stealer? ....I don't know Abby, aside from the fact that she seems to like the history teacher a whole lot..." "Don't ask... It's a long story and I, myself, have no idea where it came from." Aki sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of her nose. She really didn't know if the rumor spread or not; she was hoping for the latter. At any rate, the talking had seemed to calmed her fears once again. Maybe, just maybe this wolf girl wasn't as bad as she originally thought. Caution was taken, but lighter than it had been before. "Well, you see. That would work except that Moose don't run from a single wolf, so it is impossible to herd it into such an area, and they tend to stay in open areas near large bodies of water. If you'd ever seen a moose, well you'd know how bad tempered they are. They put rabid squirrels to shame with their anger." Aki's eyes now looked up at Kari's own, her brow was knitted in thought. "Hrmm... You'd know better, I guess. I come from a city, so there's no mooses or rabid squirrels there. At least I don't think so about the latter." She nodded in thought slowly. In truth, it was preposterous to think that she could offer advice on how to hunt to a person born to hunt. Aki's kindness got carried away once again. Slowly, bit by bit, the snowy haired human was beginning to warm up to the canine girl, finding her a bit less intimidating than before. When she had expected snarls and growls, she got a soft, gentle voice instead. When expected some kind of violence, she got a chuckle out of her... If anything, Aki was almost sure that there was something more to this. "Wolves do not get offended by the thoughts of humans. If you don't like canines, there must be a reason. It's really not my concern you know ...Though I do hope your opinions do not extend to me, after all, I don't bite." No words could have given the girl more comfort. In fact, she was so relieved, that a sharp sigh escaped through her tanned nostrils. Finally smiling now, she crouched down to the demoness' level and shook her head. "Nope. I have to admit, you gave me quite a scare in the classroom... I'm not used to seeing people like you and the fact that you're a wolf only made me more afraid...." Confessed the now cheery girl solemnly. "But, after our chat here, I can see that you're not so bad... And very skilled in fighting. Did you take any lessons on how to fight from someone? That kick you did earlier was impressive! I couldn't break the chain, but you came along and did it in one kick!" Beams of excitement trailed from Aki as she asked her questions and exalted the wolf's skill; she would make her into a friend, just wait and see. |
