| ********** PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP ********** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To see all the sections, you will need to register. Certain restrictions are in place for new members and are only available when you become a full member. New signups cannot use the PM and Email systems. To become a full member, all you have to do is reach 10 posts and you will be promoted. After registration, please take one moment to post a topic about yourself in the 'Introductions' section, so that the rest of the members can welcome you into our community. Also please read the rules. To enjoy your time on this forum, I recommend you obey these rules. They are by no means in any order, and should be treated equally. I stick by any action taken by an Admin or Moderator. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly, please let me know, and I (Magpie) will look into it. The rules are as follows: ********** BOARD RULES ********** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. No Advertising. I do not want any advertising to other sites. This rule applies in posts, under sigs, or via Pm's or Email's. My board is not a place to spam other members and force them to visit your site. If they want to visit your site, they can do it out of curiosity and not persuasion. I think that's being fair. However, I do allow for you to link your signature to your site. If you need help with this, then after registration, please just ask, and someone will gladly help you. 2. No Spamming. I run a place to show your graphics, images and creations. I do not run a place to spam posts, if you want to do that, surely there are other boards around. Any spam encountered will result in your post deleted. Multiple spamming posts consitutes a warning, removal of anything I see fit, and/or a banning. Just enjoy yourself and have fun. 3. No Flaming If you feel someone has made an improper comment, please report it to an Admin or Moderator, and they will be dealt with accordingly. If you don't agree with an action taken by an Admin, or Moderator, please report it to me (Magpie), and I will look into the matter further. 4. No Racist Comments. This board caters to people of all races, and if you have any of these type of comments, I suggest you keep them to yourself. Any racist comment will be dealt with seriously, and involve a warning, or even an instant ban, and with the latter result, causing your comment and IP forwarded to your ISP. This is a serious matter. 5. Respect other members. A rule I take strongly, everyone here is to be treated equally, and any talking down to anybody will result in a warning and/or banning. 6. No Porn. This of course, will be dealt with seriously. Do not post links, pictures, or talk about porn material. This board caters to people of all ages and any breaking of this rule, will result in a warning, and/or banning. 7. No w.arez. This is not a w.arez board, it is a graphics board. Somewhere to display, talk, and learn about graphics. Any illegal activity regarding w.arez will result in an instant ban. 8. Criticism is allowed. I allow this, but only when graphics have been posted and have comments. I feel that if you have designed something and want to show it off, that you are at least to be able to take negative comments as well as positive ones. This doesn't mean you can post a reply with a message like 'that sucks'. 9. Uploading images is allowed. I have a Gallery section where you can upload images to my host. Please use it, but try to refrain from uploading huge images such as backgrounds. Please provide a link or hotlinked image when doing so. 10. Have fun. A rule I enforce, and one I want you to follow strongly. ********** SIGNATURE AND AVATARS ********** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Only one image in your signature is allowed. Max image size is 580 x 200 pixels, or 80kb. You may have one line of text under your sig. Any abuse of this will have your sig removed from the board. 2. A signature with a URL is NOT allowed, nor is placing a link underneath your signature. I do allow you to link your signature to your site, but, the site has to go through Admin or Mod approval first. This can be done like this. . 3. Avatars must be no bigger than 100x100 pixels, and no bigger than 30kb. 4. Images have to be within accordance to the rules above. ********** THINGS TO UNDERSTAND ********** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Warning feature. The warning feature is there to let you know if you've broken a rule, and can only be adjusted by Admin or Moderator. You get five chances, after that, you're banned. If over time you do receive a warning, that level will drop if you continue to obey these rules. You will be notified by a pm or email of your error, and any decision by an Admin or Moderator is backed up by myself. If you think you have been treated unfairly in this matter, please report it to me (Magpie), and I will look into the situation. PM Advertising. Just don't do it. Bannings will result from this. You will be found out, one way or the other. |
