What kinda load of bullshitting was that?! Shynriia wasn't a big fan of games; though with what Vehiron had just done, it seemed a little too close to... well home. That's nice, he missed her. Well for someone that missed her he sure was in a hurry to leave. Whatever; not a big deal. "Thetis, stay close okay so I don't... lose you or anything." Ah jeez, she sounded motherly already. What the hell. She kept quiet during the rest of the way there. Shynriia could deal with him later; actually, she didn't even really want to chat with him but hell truth be told, they had a lot they needed to talk about whether they liked it or not. Eh. "Your father had some stuff to deal with; he said find him when you're ready." Bonding? That was his brilliant idea? She hardly knew the girl! Well; she seemed like her brother so, maybe if she just pretended she was Vailys they'd get on just fine. Maybe. She hoped. Gah why was she nervous? It was stupid and rather unbecoming. Hlarahels did not get nervous on most occasions. Most, perhaps not all. She'd only been nervous twice before; first time was her first battle, second was fighting her brother. Moving along... her attention snapped back to present time, her eyes settling on the girl as she bobbed along, the light change somewhat irritating her drow senses; it was a lot darker in the forest. She'd get used to it though, she always did. |

"I like chicken and I like pieeee..." She sang, bouncing a long a head of the adults, well, in her mind they were. To the naked eye, she appeared to be no older than twelve; both in appearance and voice. It wasn't her fault, it was just her genetic make-up. She was small as well, standing no higher than four feet seven at most, if that. Yet, she was considerably old; in her opinion anyway. Her father didn't see it that way though, but Thetis was fine with it. Coming to a complete halt, the lights of the city flickering within her eyes, she grinned. She liked the pretties, simply because they were sparkly. "Oooh!" she commented, her thought pattern changing course for the thousandth time within an hour, "Lookit the pretty sparklies! SPARKLES!" As she cast her gaze over her shoulder, she blinked. Where the hell had her father gone? Now, that wasn't on. Because he was the one who told her not to wander off, and he'd just gone and done it! Well, she'd soon see about that. Placing her hands upon her hips, she tapped her foot somewhat in irritation. "He had stuff to deal with? He promised to by me some baubles and things from the city!" She'd all but whined it out, disappoinment clearly written on her features, "He always breaks his promises. He always has business tot ake care of! Auntie Tani is always yelling at him you know? Because he left me by myself once, when Shyntiara and her brood were out!" Pouting, she huffed, "And I had to cook dinner on my onesie! And yanno what happened? I burned the kitchen down! Auntie Tani was so mad at him!" Of course, this incident had happened only two weeks ago, and Titania and her father had been mad at Thetis also. Because she'd been warned not to touch anything in the kitchen, and, if she had to she was to get it from the fridge. Which was unfair, wasn't ike she was going - okay, never mind. She'd done exactly what they'd told her she'd do. Fixing a scowl onto her face she turned her back to the woman and began to stalk a head, her eyes flashing almost menacingly as she went. Her father was stupid, how was she meant to go find him? She wasn't that smart! Unless the trees were going to help her! Yeah! She'd get the trees to help her! "So, Shynriia, how do you know my daddy?" She called over her shoulder, simply enjoying the lights as her mood began to change, a soft giggle escaping her lips, "ANd do you like him very much? He likes to irritate his family. Because he keeps going missing and Auntie Tani is always getting frustrated!" |
