Thoughts over cold wine.

A pale finger gently twirled around the rim of a wine glass as a sinfully crimson wine rested halfway within the glazed object. A soft sigh parted from azure lips as matching eyes gazed ahead into a reflection; one of herself. It was definitely one of those kinds of days where one look at anything brought reminiscing thoughts. In the reflection a somber looking chick stared back just as distant. An oddity in itself as blue dreadlocks hung loosely around elven ears; her heritage dark elf to be exact. An almost nonexistent race really; for this one hadn't spotted another in quite some time. And being the wanderer that she is, that's saying something. Just realizing how far she really had come, it amused her.

From the womb of the first Matron Mother of Menzoberranzan and escaping into the Underdark and surviving up to finding this land and well, nothing. Actually the 'finding nothing' should be taken back. She found plenty, but it just wasn't what she exactly wanted; judgements, accusations, and just down right cruelty. But what else is new, right? The outcast was always labeled the monster; demon. Yet who are they to speak of such things? It was a bit hypocritical considering they were creatures of the same lusts and passions; of power, wealth, as well as dominancy. And drow? They simply adored being the dominant species; following under the goddess Lolth blindly and ignorantly.

As the blue lady observed, these sun-roving creatures at times managed to put the drow to shame with their antics. And if you know drow like she does; well, it's saying quite a bit.

Gliding downwards, the pale fingers wrapped around the hold as the glass was lifted; tilted back into a parched mouth. Ah, the simplicities that still held some worth, Kitiarii mused. The taste held a sour tangy kind which brought forth a smile. It's one of the things she greatly adored from the humans and always will. Being a prime age of only about 237 year old; most drow would still consider her a mere babe. Where was she anyway? Oh yea, Midnight Dragoon; some local bar that held some worth to it according to the dwelling denizens. A rather plus looking place as the stool she sat at was up against the bar; a cushion rested against her back.

One leg crossed over as she leaned back against the cushion; not wanting to attract any unwanted attention for she's had quite enough, she simply mused in peace. Wondering where the road would take her next. Another killing spree like she had just finished off in some house for the sheer thrill of it? Perhaps some kind of mission though her loyalty laid to none but her own; and will forever remain that way.

//: Huzzah! It sucks. But I finally posted >.<! Now back to studying. Again.

What on earth was she even doing here? It wasn't like it'd do her any good in the long run. The Hataku Ryu tribe had long since died out, and being here now was about as dangerous as standing in front of the Kurenai village and screaming "Look at me! Look at me!" waving your hands wildly. Rena knew that; of course she did. But did that stop her? Of course not.

First of all she needed a drink, and this particular bar was as close to a drink as... well it was getting a drink actually. She needed some fire whiskey, it'd been a few days now and she was starting to gain a short fuse. Not that she didn't already have a fairly short fuse. She liked to just not think about that. It was difficult to keep up a constant flow of fire whiskey on next to no income, so she'd sufficed with water; she really wished she hadn't done something so stupid. Water inside a fire elemental was like asking for trouble. It sizzled and steamed and boiled right back out so what was the point? It only made her even more thirsty than normal, which was a right pain in the ass.

She tried not to question it too much; she'd likely end up with a killer headache and headaches were not her best friends. Holding her breath, she slipped into the establishment, careful of her footsteps. Her gold eyes glanced around, catching sight of anyone that might be watching her, but no one was. Nothing had changed apparently, since the fall of the Hataku tribe. Interesting. She let her breath go, easing into a chair, appearing rather relieved. The last thing she needed was to run into a Kurenai.

"Oi, Mai! You still work here? Fire whiskey, if I may?" Her eyes drifted toward one of the few others within the establishment; she said the first thing that came to mind, like she always did. "Whoa, that is a really bright blue. Nice shade though."
