This album has been out for a while (came out the same day as Call Me Crazy), but doesn't seem to have had much publicity. Waylon Forever is a pretty cool album, from the sounds of it (how could it not be? It's Waylon). Waylon's son, Shooter Jennings, produced it from some sessions that Waylon recorded that have never been released before, in his older age, so it's new music and different versions of some of his older music, and new songs too. I had no idea Lee Ann sang on one of the songs, until like last week, but it wasn't made available on iTunes or Amazon, until this week, so now you can buy it. Here's a 30-clip of it. Lee Ann sings background on "Ain't Livin' Long Like This": http://sg1.allmusic.com/cg/smp.dll?link=wryw60pvgspwae28qh7feai&r=64.asx Now, you can buy on iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?i=296771789&id=296771731&s=143441 or on Amazon.com (as an Mp3) here: http://www.amazon.com/Aint-Livin-Long-Like-This/dp/B001KSS6IY/ref=sr_f2_2?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1227822756&sr=102-2 |
