LOVE IT!!

MUSIC CITY CROWD MAKES MAYHEM IN MANHATTAN?
New York's finest crashed an intimate high-powered post-CMA party
that brought together top winners Lee Ann Womack and Keith Urban and
many other VIPs.
Apparently the revelers were being loud and rowdy in a hoity-toity
Manhattan neighborhood, and officers, responding to complaints,
arrived as partyers were leaving at 5:30 in the morning.
Inside were George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora,
The Sopranos star James Gandolfini, Ethan Hawke, Olivia Newton-John,
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Jeff Hanna and his songwriter wife, Matraca
Berg, Alabama lead singer Randy Owen, Shelby Lynne, Holly Williams
and others.
The party was put together by Nashville Star judge Anastasia Brown
(wife of veteran label exec/producer Tony Brown) and her girlfriends
Teresa Siman (wife of Tim McGraw manager Scott Siman) and New York-
based Nancy Jarecki, a founder of Moviefone.
It was held at Nancy's father-in-law's house in the Gramercy Park
neighborhood. The hostesses helped guests find it by putting big hay
bales outside the door.
Tony Brown was tickling the ivories as several singers took turns
entertaining. Lee Ann Womack repeatedly shouted out song titles at
Keith Urban, turning him into her human jukebox for a while.
But it was George who inadvertently turned things rowdy. All he did
was sit and sing, but the ladies were rather loud about their
appreciation for his work.
But the theory is that the 5 a.m. outburst, when George started
singing Amarillo By Morning, may have been the straw that broke the
cranky neighbors' backs.
"We just screamed, we were so excited about the song," Anastasia
said. "The neighbors weren't quite as excited."
There really wasn't much for the police to break up, as everyone had
drifted out by the time officers got there.
"It was a lot of fun. It was a great hang," said Scott Siman, who
thinks the noise isn't what drew the police.
"I think . . . those strange hay bales in front. I think the hay
bales are what got them there."

A real friend will be sitting beside you in the cell saying.....
"Now THAT was fun!"~
