That's more like it! I hate those Top 20 Sexy Woman rankings at CMT. They wouldn't know sexy if she winked at them.

agreed, I think Lee Ann is so beautiful.

Lee Ann will be participating in the Chicago Cubs Country Music Night Tuesday, July 18 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. She will be singing the National Anthem as well as leading the 7th inning stretch. Those of you in the Chicago-land area can catch the game on CSN Chicago (also offered in high def.) or if you are a subscriber, you can catch the game nationally on MLB.com. Game time is 7:05pm CT.

She will also sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" I've read somewhere else :).

CHICAGO, IL Friday Jul.21.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Lee Ann Womack pitched a double-header at a recent Chicago Cubs game.

Not only did Lee Ann Womack sing the National Anthem at Chicago's Wrigley Field Tuesday night, but she also stuck around long enough to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch for the game between the Cubs and her home team, the Houston Astros (who lost 4-2).

Watch for Lee Ann's new one, "Finding My Way Back Home" to find it's way to country radio soon.

no problem :)

Lee Ann will be featured in the August 14 edition of Country Weekly along with some amazing kids from Vanderbilt University’s Williams Syndrome Music Camp. Lee Ann visited with the kids at the camp where they were able to record a song with her, along with Rascal Flatt’s Jay DeMarcus and Jedd Hughes.

Williams syndrome is a rare genetic condition (estimated to occur in 1/20,000 births) which causes medical and developmental problems. Many Williams’ kids have a unique muscial ability and through the work of the Vanderbilt Music Camp are able to meet and play music with other Williams’ children. For more information on the camp, head on over to the camp’s website."

"September 7, 2006--The Tennessean reports that unlike many in the youth-oriented entertainment business, Lee Ann Womack isn't obsessing about turning 40. "I have been working so hard that I didn't really think about it; I still don't think I have," she says. "We want to have another baby; there are so many things that we have been planning for that I haven't really thought about being 40. If 40 is as good as 39, I am set."

"Lee Ann Womack will join forces with Broadway stars and other country music artists at the second annual "Broadway Meets Country" gala event on October 30th at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

In a cabaret-like setting, the country artists will sing their favorite Broadway show tunes, and the Broadway performers will sing their favorite country songs. There may even be a few duets paring the artists together. "

- Looks like she's doing it again this year :D

From the Salt Lake City concert, opening for Alan Jackson:

"...Lee Ann Womack got the night off to a rousing start with a dozen or so songs that come from her recent There's More Where That Came From collection, as well as some of her early songs and country classics. "I Hope You Dance" brought the crowd to its feet, but songs like "Buckaroo," "I May Hate Myself in the Morning" and "Ashes By Now" were also smoking.
