I saw Divergent recently, and thought it was really good. A better Distopian type movie than Hunger Games IMO. I thought the characters were more realistic and less cartoonish as well. Divergent is based on a trilogy of books and they will be turned into four movies. I think they cast Shailene Woodsley well as "Tris". Also Theo James as "Four". Can't forget about Kate Winslet as "Jeanine" (the villain) either. I'm glad I waited this long to watch the movie, because the sequel Insurgent will be coming out in March 2015. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divergent_%28film%29 |

I haven't caught this one, but of the more recent YA sourced films this one looks the most interesting. I may have to get around to watching it. |

^^ I think it has a great premise. One that resonates because as a society "we" have a habit of "voluntarily" giving up our own freedoms in exchange for security and order after major castatrophes happen. Its a slippery slope. |
