Hello everyone, How have you all been? I hope that everyone is fine. I just received my new camera the other day, and thus far, I am loving it a lot. It has a ton of nice features and effects. It is a Panasonic Lumix FZ200. It is a bridge camera rather than a DSLR, but it is still rather nice. I still plan to save up for a DSLR, and maybe get one in the future, but for now, this is all I need. I know that the camera is very good from firsthand use, and from the many reviews that I have watched and read. I have already taken a lot of very nice photos with it, and maybe I'll post some here for everyone to see. Take very good care everybody, and have fun!

Well, on closer view of the photos, they are really quite bad in low light, even in just moderately low light. Thus, if I wanted to crop them, I could not. Unless I am doing something wrong, and I don't think that I am, because I have been a photographer for years. So, I guess that I will return it.

Sorry to hear that your new camera did not work out. Did you obtain a different camera perhaps? |

No, as of yet, I have not obtained a new camera. I am, however, thinking about getting either a Canon or a Nikon DSLR. I don't know which is better yet. I do have some Canon lenses though, from a Rebel that I used to have. I think that spending the extra money for a DSLR, rather than a bridge point and shoot is the way to go, because they take higher quality pictures. I just like the idea of having a mega-zoom camera though. Bridge cameras have a nice zoom range.
