Thanks...I'll get started on filling the form today(which they provided).

I could get used to not working, for a while anyway. I just washed my dishes,(I only wash them like twice a week usually, and I've kept the sink clean since yesterday :) ) swept my floor and made some coffee. If I had to work today, I would be rushing to make something to eat(for now, as I wouldn't have time to make something for my dinner at work), finding something to wear(I never had time to wash clothes, as we can't use the machines after 9 pm, and that's when I got home), and I always take my shower the night before. It's almost like I always had my days split in 3 parts, before work rush, during work, and after work laziness...lol

I've made plans to go walking, and to try to do it everyday, and I have to make a quick run to the bank today to get my rent money. Of course I'll get to that form too. And then I'll get some math done. :) So even if I'm not at work, I'll still try to keep busy, until I go back to work this summer, and then to college.

While I still wish I was at that job, I suppose there are some good points in staying home too. I just wish I could have been a full time stay at home mother, but given my situation, it wasn't always possible.

Jeez, I'm full of thoughts today aren't I?

Ah Mel....

Living the life of leisure, are you? Enjoy it while you can. I used to think I'd like to live that life but when I get the opportunity to taste it  I'm bored and need something else to do. Maybe I have ADD. But then I've always been like that.

Good Afternoon everybody! I'm on my lunch break so I thought I'd check in. I hate to miss anything.

This morning I watched "Crimson Tide" on TBS. That was real early like 4:30am or something like that. I love submariner lingo. Those crispy uniforms are really sharp too!

Oh well, that's it for today. Talk to you all later.

I don't know what it is about that movie that I could never get in to. I have never watched it in its entirety.

Those Navy boys do look good in uniform though. :brow:

BTW, my wife's birthday is this month. I am getting her a digital camera that she has been wanting for quite some time. Additionally, I've already ordered DS9 (Season Three) on DVD (this is her favorite Trek series) as well as The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes (also on DVD). She is quite the fan of Holmes and Christie.

I also ordered (for His awesomeness*) the first season of ...

*Self-explanatory, thank you very much.

Mission: Impossible! on DVD. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Was she a Trek fan before or after you married her?

Afterward. Her roommate in college was a HUGE Trek fan. She (my wife) and this roomate went to see Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. This was the first time my wife had ever seen anything Trek. At the film, she asked her roommate, "Who is this Spock, and why are we looking for him?"

I just baked some peanuts, but they are too hot to eat. I'm ready to eat them though.

Be patient 24. Send leftover baked peanuts to Pittsburgh.

I was flipping through the channels the other night and I caught an earlier episode of Mission Impossible. I love that opening scene and how the tape self destructs.

"Mr. Warner.... Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to stop by 24's house and take the baked peanuts from the oven and deliver them to Intrepid's house. If any one of your team members is caught or or gets lost, 24 will disavow any knowledge of your actions." :Waitforfood:

Intrepid,

I just posted about this show tonight. It was so far ahead of its time, and so imaginative. I love it! :)

BTW, I accept the mission, so long as the secretary disavows any knowledge of my mission should I or any of my team be caught or killed....
