^^^ Oy! Did you see that hairdo? There was a rumor going around here at the workplace that Howard Stern (the radio personality) was asking his listenersto vote for the Sanjaya guy. What a joke. So what did everybody have for lunch. I'll have to drop by the cafeteria and see what kind of goodies they have today. Oddly enough, the hospital food at the cafeteria is great. I don't know what it is they feed the patients. BRB |

That just might be the nuttiest hairdo I have ever seen. I guess he figured the hair would distract everyone from the fact that he has no talent. |

I saw about five minutes of this show tonight (while we were changing DVDs). There was a singer on, and there were girls dancing in what looked like 1950s garb. I believe it was a little after 9 p.m. when we were switching shows. |

Good day, KOT. I just dropped in briefly to say hi ... things have gotten a bit busier the last couple of days. It snowed overnight here, so I must dash off now to get the snow scraped off the windshield and battle my way to work. Seems that whenever it snows, people forget how to drive in the stuff. Have a great day. |

Okay, I found out that it was Gwen Stefani (sp.) who was singing last night when I saw one segment of the show. |

Good morning all! ![]() Still getting snow in Colorado?! ![]() I forgot American Idol was on two nights in a row. So I didn't watch last night. I wanted to see Gwen Stefani perform. Intrepid, please tell me that Sanjaya got voted off.

^^^ What I saw of her performance, and of her comments afterward, were generally positive. She seemed to be enjoying herself quite a lot.

I like Gwen Stefani. She had a rocky time musically when she first broke up with her band and went solo, but I think she has hit her stride again. |

^^^ Wow. I have never heard of that band, and I listen to a lot of music. (This isn't like films for me--I've missed many of those over the years, but I try to keep up with music on a daily basis, and in my line of work, it's a bit rare for some bands to slip on by me.) |

^^^ No Doubt is a truly unique band (or as close to one as you are going to get considering the cookie cutter bands that are produced a lot here in the US). Their music was a fusion of Ska, Punk, Reggae, Pop, Rock, Alternative and probably a bunch of other genres. |

^^^ You have heard of Ska? How is this possible, when you have not know the great Warner all that long? I love Ska--The Specials used some of its elements in their music. Wonderful stuff.

^^ Yep, I know Ska. I was first introduced to it years ago when I watched an old Annette Funicello movie. They were doing some version of Ska at a beach party. ![]() |
