One of my all-time favorite t.v. shows made it to DVD this year (Mission: Impossible!). I am still waiting for another favorite show of mine to make it to DVD, and when it does, I will be scooping that one up pronto: The Mod Squad. This show was very much central to my youth, and I watched it faithfully as a child when I was allowed to do so (I was 10-15 years of age when it was on the air originally). The show is at times quite dark, and is at times quite violent, but it addresses many of the issues of the day (campus unrest, unwanted pregnancies, gang violence, drug and physical abuse, prostitution, etc.) in a thought-provoking and well-acted manner. I heard rumors that this series is being talked about among execs. as being one to be released in 2007. I sure do hope so.
"One Black, One White, and One Blonde."

I haven't seen either of those shows. I think I have seen Mission Impossible! listed in the TV guide every once in a while though. |

^^^ I would recommend either one of them. They're both classic, and very well done.

When I get my hands on the person that bumped up the new member proposal threads today, I'm gonna be fit to be tied.
Seriously, this bumping is so they will remain visible (high profile), right?

^^![]() I bump them up sometimes to keep them visible. Sometimes, a vote by someone may bump the poll up as well. It depends.
The search function will only keep active threads visible for about a 24 hour period. I talked to Invision about that, but they said it is a system wide bug that prevents us from setting the search function to more than one day. |

Hi, everyone. Yes, I'm finally back again. Sorry, I didn't take the camera with me on this trip, but here's a link to the website for the mineral pool in Glenwood Springs so you can see a picture: http://www.hotspringspool.com/ And some additional photos: http://www.hotspringspool.com/client_files/hr_p186.jpg http://www.hotspringspool.com/client_files/hr_p348.JPG http://www.hotspringspool.com/client_files/hr_p194.jpg Native Americans first used the waters from this natural spring as a sacred healing place. The pool, being used as a spa and tourist attraction, dates back to the late 1800's, and it is the largest in the world. A number of celebrities and some presidents have used it over the years. Doc Holliday (of the OK Corral fame) came to Glenwood Springs during his final days, seeking relief from his tuberculosis, and is buried in the Glenwood cemetery. Wish I would have had more time to sightsee, but I was there to work, after all. The training went well, as the new trainee was quite bright and caught on quickly. However, those were an intense 2 days, as learning and teaching always tend to be mentally taxing. Not to mention a 3-hour drive each day. I'm weary tonight, and happy to be home. Of course, lots of things piled up for me at work in my absence (so much for being caught up on Friday). Oh well, job security. |

24, Oh yeah, black jelly beans aren't your favorite. ![]() Rainy and warm this morning. I'm thankful it's this warm, or we could have had much snow/ice--not fun to drive in. |

![]() It was really cold here over the weekend/past week (back to freezing temperatures). It has warmed up pretty quickly over the past couple of days though, and I had to switch over to air conditioning. |

Translation: It was around 85 degrees here over the weekend/past week (back to freezing temperatures) for those of us who live down here, Warner's father especially. Seriously, whenever my father visits us (almost always in the summer), he brings many sweaters with him. I believe he is cold when it is 65 degrees outside.

^^ No it was in the 30s cold here. Your father lives further down south (within SC) than I do (I believe). Where I am located we get colder winters. But still not as cold as New England winters.

^^^ Yes, he lives in Seneca. I've never been there. But Clemson is an attractive campus, from what I've been told (by him and others).
