This morning, on the way to pre-K, my daughter said out of the blue "I wish I could see a rainbow bear". So I asked "What's a rainbow bear?" She replied, "I wish there was one so I would know what one is!"

That kind of reminds me of the time our daughter said, "I can't tell you, because I don't want to know."

You know, they make Care Bears with rainbows on them. Cheer Bear has a rainbow on her belly. Bashful Heart Bear has one on his tummy as well. I bet she would love a Cheer Bear.

What do you do, just open the door and talk to them by leaning out the door?

24,

Yeah, that's what I have to do. It's odd, for sure. Maybe I'll get it fixed one day.

That's pretty good. I bet the drive through people (in general) see all kinds of strange things. Some things that might make them go...

Care Bears

You're correct and my daughter already has 5 or 6 Care Bears including Cheer Bear. In fact, Cheer Bear is her favorite one.

Her original daycare teacher gives her a birthday present every year and this year she gave her a Harmony Bear that is at least 3 feet tall! (My daughter has so many people that give her presents it's a wonder she isn't completely spoiled by now - that's how she has so many Care Bears.)

The motor to the driver's window burned out and had to be replaced.

Coincidentally, that is what happened to our New Yorker as well! We still haven't fixed it, and have it wedged shut. It makes banking and fast-food ordering a bit more challenging. ;)

I had to get mine fixed right away because it was stuck DOWN and it was rainy season in Florida...

You think that was challenging. How about a car door that wouldn't open from the outside?

I either had to leave the window open all the time or in the winter, go in through the passenger side.

My 89 Corsica also had tempermental automatic window problems. Sometimes they would work, sometimes they wouldn't. And oh the windshield wipers would get stuck in one position and usually the passenger would have to stick his hand out while the car was in motion and give the windshield a nudge.... while it was raining of course.

I loved that car. It had so much character.

This windows on my car are a bit knackered. Both mechanisms were damaged by the weight of glas dropping on them suring break ins.

Luckily though, aside from an on-board computer crash nothing has gone wrong witn my car!
