I am a very safe driver. Really I am! ![]() I get pigeon-holed into the same category as the idiots that drive Citroen Saxo's and Vauxhall Corsa's because I drive a powerful car with a few modifications. If you came out with me in teh car though, you would see i'm a safe and careful driver.

Big Boss, I want to believe you--really I do. But as I look at your sentence above, I can't help but think what might happen if you came to a STOP sign, and you believed that it read: TOPS SPOT POTS POST Anything, but STOP! J/K. I never realized how many words can be made using only those four letters....

Good morning KOT! My you guys are up early. I just got finished shoveling the driveway. Better to get to it early that let it pile up. Spring cleaning update: I didn't get much done. I've got about six unfinished projects started. Maybe I'll tackle it after a late breakfast. Oops DS9 is on at 10AM. Gotta go.

Hehe I haven't really come accross a cat who doesn't do that! Did you read the whole thing? I think I posted it somewhere on this thread... |

I glanced at the list when you first posted it, and made a mental note to go back and read it in its entirety. Haven't gotten back to it yet. My cat is finicky. He doesn't like to be petted like other cats. When I am holding him on my shoulder and carrying him around, he'll let me pet him on his back tail area. When he is anywhere else, he will let me get one or two back pets/scratches in before he turns around and tries to go after me. ![]() He doesn't like to have his belly rubbed/scratched either except when he is about to go to sleep or is just waking up. And then, that doesn't last long before he bats my hand away or tries to bite me. The only area of his body that he loves to be rubbed/petted/scratched is his head and ears. The problem with my cat is, he was weaned to early from his mother and the man trying to get rid of the litter of kittens just trapped them in some kind of raccoon trap. It traumatized him when he was real young and he never really became a friendly social cat. The outdoor cat I take care of doesn't mind any kind of scratch play though. She is very friendly. |

That's terrible. I am appalled by what some people do to animals.BTW your cat's behaviour kinda sounds like my cat. Well, the trying to bite part. She likes to bite, but that's her way of playing. She doesn't mean it in a malicious way. When she wants to be pet, there's no stopping her getting what she wants...she'll stick her nose under my hand until I pet her... She loves to be scratched on her forehead, just above and in between her eyes.... I kinda rescued my cat too, because my ex neighbour abandonned her when she moved out of the building. Left her with another neighbour, a 14 year old boy, for a day(yeah right ) and the next day he was told by his mum to get rid of her when the other neighbour didn't come back. He came to me asking if I could keep her until the other one came for her. I said yes. She came for a piece of furniture that I was holding for her two weeks later(she was supposed to come the next day). I asked her: "What about your cat? I've been buying food for her, and cat litter." She said: "Oh the cat's here, I thought it was just outside wandering around." I told her to nevermind and that I was keeping her. She then asked her daughter(who's in Cindy's class right now) if it was ok with her. Umm, excuse me, you abandonned her...I don't think your daughter can choose. lol...well, that is what I felt like saying to her anyway...I was so angry at her... Well I've had my cat for 1.5 years now...same amount of time I've been in my apartment less one month |
