IE,

Hi. I'm doing fine, thanks. I'm happy the snow has stopped. :)

Last night I was wondering how to catalogue my DVD collection. Should it be by genre and then alphabetize or just plain alphabetize? But doing that would seperate all my Elvis movies and I don't want that.

We categorize both our VHS tapes and DVDs by genre, and then by title within each of the genres. We have children's films, family films, musicals, t.v. shows, etc.

Good afternoon everybody!

So sorry to hear about Cindy Mel. I hope she's feeling a little better as well as you.

So what's up 24, Warner, IE, Mel, Big Boss, Tribblemom, MFive, Captain Pineapple-icious and Swidden? The snow storm that hit Warner missed us. We got a little rain and that's it. We are fortunate.

So I'll be spending the day, spring cleaning. I've got this sudden urge to "pitch".....garbage, that is. I want to minimize. I want to simplify. Who needs 20 pair of shoes and double that in handbags? I have this sudden urge to alphabetize something.... anything. It must be that "Swiffer" I bought. It's driving me nuts. The minute a friend of mine put one in my hands I've been wandering my house looking for dust and *gulp* FINDING IT! :scared:

Last night I was wondering how to catalogue my DVD collection. Should it be by genre and then alphabetize or just plain alphabetize? But doing that would seperate all my Elvis movies and I don't want that.

Decisions, decisions......

Take care everybody!

Good afternoon. :hello:

I'm not up to much today.

I have some of those Swiffer Dusters. They are good for getting into tight places and will collect dust up to a point. However, they quickly start to redeposit the dust or just don't pick it up at all. You'll probably have to vacuum after you dust.

I like things to be neat, but I don't go as far as alphabetizing.

See ya later. :butterfly:

I have my games and DVD's in order of favourites, and in chronological order withing that particular series.

For example, the top five of my PS2 games go as follows:

Metal Gear Solid 2: Son's of Liberty
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec
Gran Turismo: Concept...

etc...

You get the idea...

Intrepid,
Kudos to you for getting the organizational bug and cleaning out the old stuff. That's always a worthwhile endeavor. Sometimes it's amazing how much can accumulate.
As for the "who needs 20 pairs of shoes" ... well, if any of them are hiking boots in size 9, I'll take them off your hands (or feet). I've got lots of mountain miles planned for this summer.

I think my organisation of my PS2 games is great, and to prove that 24 hasn't messed them up, have a picture of my last 30 ish games. (Gotta keep the favourites.)

Hey everyone.

Taking care of an injured child is a lot of work. Just putting her to bed is a big chore. Making sure she's comfy, and if she's not(which is very likely), I have to move her to a different position, fix her pillows etc...without hurting her. I'm gonna have to get up in the middle of the night to see if she's thirsty or needs the bathroom.

I really hope she starts feeling better really soon.

GMel,

Hi. I know how that goes. I can recall many sleepness nights just getting up for little ones. But you probably haven't had to do that all that often recently (until now), right? Does Cindy have a fever of any kind?

She might have been a little warm a couple of times, but her meds are helping.

She got up on her own this morning :) And went to the bathroom on her own too. All she needed from me was for me to get her pillows from the bedroom. She'll pay a visit to my dad later on, so I can get a little shopping done.

Time for breakfast. :)

Mmmmmm french fries for breakfast. Not exactly healthy. At least I baked them instead of deep frying them. Cindy sure didn't mind

Your fries are healthier than the cheeseburger I ate a little while ago. :rotfl:

It was leftover from yesterday.
