No, I don't think so. I love black jelly beans the best as well, although (unlike licorice) I can eat just about any type of jelly beans.

Kate,

Exsqueeze me? Did we disagree on something? Huh?

Black is good, and red is not!

It's a darn good thing that you're Kate, and I'm Claire. Because if I were Jack or Sawyer, you'd have me at your mercy. As it is, I'm only pregnant. ;)

Claire,

Yes, it's a good thing you're a girl, and pregnant...

hmmm...that doesn't sound quite right.

Well, with a name like Claire, I suppose it's acceptable. But if you had a name like Warner, or Fesarius, it wouldn't do....at all! ;) :robot:

Does anyone else here really dislike doing the dishes? So much that you wait a few days to do them, and they're piling up in the sink?

*raises hand*

I just spent about an hour and a half in the kitchen, doing dishes and then making something to eat and then cleaning up again! :thud:

All this after coming home from work....I'm pooped Oh how I wish I were a morning person....I could clean up BEFORE work...lol

Kate,

LOL! There is something odd about that statement!

Hmmm. I'm not sure I like the company you're keeping there. Claire is nice, but those other two people.... :jawdrop:

I sometimes wish I were a morning person as well. I'd probably be better at exercising if I were. But I'm an evening person bigtime. I don't get to bed very early, and I certainly don't get up early if I don't have to.

Same with me...I get up in the morning for Cindy, and when she's gone to school I collapse back in my bed....Then I sleep until 10ish. After that I get myself ready to go to work for 1pm. Between that and relaxing a bit(waking up lol) I don't really feel like getting chores done. :geek:

Although when I was working at Tim's(land of the Timbit), I would get up at 6 am, sometimes earlier, after having gone to bed at 1 or 2 am. I suppose it all depends on the routine I keep, and I can't keep the same routine for more than a few months...I just was never able to do it without getting depressed at one point.

Yeah, that can happen when one talks to Big Boss at all hours of the night. Believe me. I know.

Seriously, that would totally wipe me out. I need a minimum of seven hours. If I get less than that, I can function for about one day. Put two consecutive days together like that, and I'm quite grouchy.

Hehe well, he's not the one I'm usually talking to, but it's happened from time to time.

The one I'm in a relationship with, a guy in Scotland, has just purchased his airline ticket to come see me in June.... :) I'm gonna marry that guy someday...

Cat Haiku

    You never feed me.
Perhaps I'll sleep on your face.
    That will show you.

    You must scratch me there!
    Yes, above my tail! Behold,
    elevator butt.

    I need a new toy.
Tail of black dog keeps good time.
    Pounce! good dog! good dog!

    The rule for today.
Touch my tail, I shred your hand.
    New rule tomorrow.

    In deep sleep hear sound
    Cat vomit hairball somewhere.
    Will find in morning.

    Grace personified
    I leap into the window
    I meant to do that

    Blur of motion, then-
    Silence, me, a paper bag
    What is so funny?

    The mighty hunter
Returns with gifts of plump birds
    Your foot just squashed one.

    You're always typing
Well, let's see you ignore my
    Sitting on your hands.

    My small cardboard box
You cannot see me if I
    Can just hide my head.

    Terrible battle
I fought for hours. Come and see!
    What's a "term paper"?

    Kitty likes plastic
    Confuses for litter box
    Don't leave tarp around

    Small brave carnivores
    Kill pine cones and mosquitoes
    Fear vacuum cleaner

    Want to trim my claws
    Don't even think about it!
My yelps will wake the dead

    I want to be close
To you. Can I fit my head
    inside your armpit?

    Wanna go outside.
Oh, no! Help! I got outside!
    Let me back inside!

    Oh no! Big One
    has been trapped by newspaper.
    Cat to the rescue!

    Humans are so strange.
Mine lies still in the bed, then screams!
    My claws aren't that sharp....

    Cats meow out of angst
"Thumbs! If only we had thumbs!
    We could break so much"

    Litter box not there
You must have moved it again
    I'll crap in the sink

    The Big Ones snore now
Every room is dark and cold
    time for "Cup Hockey"

    We're almost equals
I purr to show I love you
    Want to smell my butt.

Isabel,

Good morning. :) Driving to work today was very, very difficult. I almost turned around....

I heard on the country music station that I listen to that Carrie Underwood's debut album just passed the 5,000,000 mark. According to this station, this makes her debut album the fastest to reach that mark since S. Twain. Good for her, eh? :)

Every September or October, we are inundated with thousands of lady bugs. Several hundred of them used to get into our home, before we reinforced our weather stripping. I'm just thankful that these aren't bees or something else. Lady bugs are a nuissance, but thankfully they are harmless. :)

Carrie Underwood’s high record sales are much deserved IMO.

I have another comment to make regarding a song, but I’ll go to the music thread for that.

Wow--classes have been cancelled, and the university is closing. This is only the second time this has happened in my fourteen years here.
