LOL! :)

BTW, I think my recent comments in the 'red box' thread were premature. I just got another one. I'm blaming IE this time.

Mine is going very well, thank you. But, about an hour ago, our son's xbox360 froze up on him. He said it does it for the two games he now has for it. So, at this moment he and his mother are returning it (oh yes, we kept the receipt for this item!) and I expect them to have a new one when they come home. :)

That is a pain in the butt having to return an item. Considering how costly xbox's are, I would save the receipt too!

I would normally feel badly for him, but it's just a minor inconvenience. I've told him how things don't seem to be made like they used to be made. There is something about the quality of things that (generally speaking) seems to continually be going down hill these days. Makes me want to come out and :gunsling:. ;)

Things are getting more complex though. The more complex things get, the more there is to go wrong.

Absolutely. I've found this out with car windows (electric rather than manual), as well as with any computerized parts in our automobile....

Electric windows are the only thing to have broken in my car in the six years I have owned it. The motor to the driver's window burned out and had to be replaced. Fortunately, it was back during the warranty period.

I do know what you mean about computer parts from a previous car. It left me having to be towed once. :(

Coincidentally, that is what happened to our New Yorker as well! We still haven't fixed it, and have it wedged shut. It makes banking and fast-food ordering a bit more challenging. ;)

24,

Yeah, that's what I have to do. It's odd, for sure. Maybe I'll get it fixed one day.
