For a minute I thought you were quoting Dr. Seuss. ;)

("I would not eat them here or there. I would not eat them anywhere.")

Sorry, how can you tell I have a 5 year old... :D

I just tested the Chat Box. Clicked onto the room and backed into the room. Hopefully whatever was causing the problem was temporary.

I am sorry for the trouble. If this Chat Box ends up causing too many problems, then I will search for another. Hopefully that won't be necessary. It took me forever to find one that met my basic requirements.

On the ride home from work, I had one of the biggest coughing fits I ever had. I've been ok all day up to that point, relatively speaking of course. But a few minutes into the ride home it starts....Coughing wildly, and I could barely breathe. I realised that it was the heating in the car that was causing it, so I asked Dad to turn it down. He did, and put on the A/C(yeah I know... in the middle of winter...brrr), and it helped. The coughing subsided... :whew:

For a moment I knew what asthmatics feel like...

Mel, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. :( You should probably get that checked. It could be bronchitis.

Yes, I'm planning on getting it checked this week. It's pretty hard to get an appointment with my doc though. We have an after hours clinic I can go to, but it's in the evening, while I work. I may have to wait until Thursday and miss my class to go. Hopefully by then, I'll feel better and won't need to go.

As for right now, the cough is under control. I just get some bad spells sometimes.

Watch Contact, A Walk To Remember or the rest of You’ve Got Mail. :chin:

Ahh, the tough choices I must make. May your Sunday be as equally “taxing.”

I think I’ll watch Contact. I haven’t seen it in a while and the other two I have seen more recently.

About a month ago. :) The smiley fit in perfectly with one of the threads that was active at the time (in the Extra! Extra! forum).

I thought I would share this story, which happened tonight. We were watching an episode of Roswell, and in it, Brody (he's the head of the UFO Center) is holding what he believes to be an alien artifact in his hand. It goes off, and it sends out a green ring which looks like some kind of zapping ray of sorts. It knocked one of the aliens (he was breaking into the center) back several feet, and at precisely the moment that that happened, our two-year old fell backward in her chair (it sits very low to the ground) as well. Our eldest daughter said, "Is there something we ought to know about my sister?" :loling: :rotfl: The timing could not have been better if we had planned it. :)
