I use to use rhythms and mnemonic devices (like the Guidonian hand) frequently when I memorized information for tests. I am an aural person most of the time, but sometimes visual representations helped me as well. I am not a kinesthetic learner at all (well, unless you count the piano--LOL). ;)

T.G.I.F. !

These weeks are killing me lately.

But I did get an extension to March 19th on my project this week (was March 5th before). So that will help some. :whew:

I once said this to a co-worker of mine about twelve years ago. And my co-worker responded with "S.H.I.T." (sorry honey, it's Thursday). I kid you not.

GMel,

I hope you feel better as well. How is the little one this morning? :)

Intrepid,

The co-worker was a male, and the setting was in his home, at the dinner table (with his wife and daughter, and the latter was over 18).

Is your throat still hurting?

Nope, and only since working at this school. It's a real germ factory here. Nd yes my throat still hurts, a lot. And my chest hurts from coughing so much. Thank goodness it's Sunday tomorrow, so I can stay home and rest.

I hadn't been sick for aboput 3 years previously.

Warner,

Cindy is doing much better. What scares me though, is that we didn't seem to have the same illness. So what if we infect each other?

GMel,

Hopefully, you both had the same illness, but with different symptoms. A year or so ago, a flu-like virus spread through our home, and we all had slightly diffferent symptoms. I won't go into the yucky details here, but I'm sure you can figure out that some of us were vomiting, while others lost it in other ways.

One really never knows when it comes to a sickness just how it is going to affect them. Children often get things in our home that my wife and I never get. Go figure....

Warner,

This is usually how it is at home. It is only Cindy and I and she usually gets everything that goes around in school, while I get nothing from her. But since working here...

Funny thing is though...My boss got sick before me both times.

Good morning everyone!

Mel,

Are you going to go see a doctor soon if you don't get better?

Yes, definitely! I'll be going this week if I don't start seeing improvement.

I don't want pneumonia again.

I have never had pneumonia. Did you have to go into the hospital when you got it?

Well the story behind that was that about 5 years ago, I caught a cold in the spring, that went away quickly enough, except that the cough was very persistent. It lasted about three months and it wasn't going away, it was getting worse, keeping me up all night. When I went to see the doctor, he said I had pneumonia in one lung. He prescribed anti-biotics, and an inhaler. After another month, I was better.

Hey Big Boss.
