GMel's parents taught her to share. IE's parents taught him to ask. Warner's parents taught him to steal ... muffins.

Warner, If you scroll back up this thread about eleven replies, you will find the conversation that I split off from The Pretender thread about the series that you are purchasing. |

Isabel, Thank you (for the split).
Intrepid, Yes, Emilie de Ravin (currently Claire Littleton on Lost). She also played Tess Harding in Roswell (1999), as well as a few other roles in different series and films.
Isabel, Smallville is incorrect, but that was an excellent guess, especially with all of the talk about that series lately on various Boards.

^^^ Nope. (You're not much into guessing? ;)) The show is in its third year, and it has been mentioned on Keep On Trekkin' before.

No, but that's *another* show I want to get into one day. It features many intriguing characters from a plethora of ethnic and diverse backgrounds. It is highly dramatic and filled with adventure, intrigue, and mystery, with a little bit of Earth 2 and Roswell thrown in for good measure.

Isabel, Correct. I am convinced that your having felt 'off' yesterday has something to do with this much too quick of an accurate answer. I have Mulder and Scully working on this at the present time. More later when I file the report.

^^^ There are a lot of shows like that, that I (for whatever reason) never had the urge to watch. Then I find years later that I missed something special. A couple that come to mind are M.A.S.H. and DS9, and (more recently), Roswell. |

I just got a call from my wife. She really liked the roses that I sent her.
It has been a really difficult year for her this past year. Her mother has been plagued with health issues and spent more time in hospitals than out. Last month, one doctor told the family that she only had 3 to 6 months to live. Her primary physician has since disagreed and one of her sons, who is also a doctor, came into town and disagrees as well. But nonetheless that initial news caused quite a bit of stress before it was disputed; and that was on top of all the previous year's stress. So I decided to spend a little more on the roses this year and got a nicer package than I normally do. My wife really deserves and needs the lift. It sounded like it worked.

IE, That's awesome (what you did). We celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday (I know, blasphemous).

^ Nah, not blasphemous. Whatever works. When my wife and I first met, we celebrated Valentine's Day from the 11th to the 14th because we started going out on the 11th. Somehow we got away from that over the years. |
