I was listening to the radio the other day and there was a commercial on advertising Restylane and Botox as a great gift for Valentine’s Day.

I was thinking, oh yeah, there’s nothing more that says I love you than a gift proclaiming you have too many wrinkles.  :rotfl:

 Uh-oh... I guess I'd better exchange that gift I got for my wife...

Not sure, I have never heard someone with a lisp say lisp.

Arrgh, when I am taping something I can't watch another channel. I want to watch Charmed! It was an episode that I missed the first time around. Oh well. I'll catch it eventually.

From what season is it?

BTW, years ago we had a feature that allowed us to tape one channel while we watched a different channel. We can do that now if we tape a show and watch a DVD. For two different channels, I believe that it involves two lines or something.

BTW, nearly a year or so later, I can say with confidence that Direct TV is excellent. I like the service much more than Dish.

^^

Another Season 8 episode. I tuned the series out a little bit the last season. It went off into boring land (I thought at the time). I may have just been burned out on Charmed at the time and just incapable of enjoying the episodes to their fullest. I won't know until I see the ones I missed though. No problem. :)

Do you by any chance have a tv/vcr combo set? I had one of those before, and it was the only time I couldn't watch something while taping something else. It's because the set has only one tuner, whilst if you had separate tv and vcr, that's two tuners.

No. I have a separate TV and VCR/DVD player. When I am watching regular (free) TV I can watch any channel I want while taping another channel.

However, when I have the satellite on, the channel has to be set to what I am actually taping.

There are more advanced setups than what I have that allows you to tape and watch what you want (Digital Video Recorders, TIVO). I don't have anything like that though.

M'Elanna,

That's right, tuners was what we had! I forgot that that was the term.

24,

I forgot about Satellite. Of course you can't tune to two channels at a time with Satellite. Unless you have two receivers.

I was thinking about cable... :geek:
