I have to take my Driver's License test tomorrow. My current license is about to expire and I have changed states since I last had one renewed. That means I have to take all the tests over except the driving portion. At least that portion is exempt since I already hold a license in another state. Anyway, fun, fun fun! LOL. That's what I am studying for tonight.

Really? When I moved from one to the other I didn't have to take anything. My husband moved to 3 different states and never had to do it either. |

Yes, the state I moved to are crackheads when it comes to getting a new DL. I think if you have a valid DL, then you should have to stick to the basics like a vision test. LOL. |

I wish! I went over this morning. I passed all the tests, but they needed more information on my car insurance. I did not have a cell phone with me, so I had to wait until I got back home to contact my insurance company to then have them fax over the information. I now have to go back over to the DMV (next week probably) to get my picture take/the license. To make matters worse, my car kept trying to run hot going over there. I left the DMV and it shot right up to the RED. I ended up having to call a tow truck to have it taken over to a auto repair to get it checked out. I'm home now, but I'm waiting for a call back on that. The irony of a car breaking down to/from the DMV.

Hello everyone! I was just in the front garden and happened to look up at the night sky, and to my amazement i could actually see some stars! Nothing too exciting for many people i'm sure, but due to cloud cover and light pollution they are not visible very often. Seeing the stars made a nice change and certainly put a smile on my face. Does anyone here see stars regularly? |

Living on the coast of California we are prone to foggy evenings and mornings during the summer months. We get some clear nights, but it's a crap shoot. Winter months tend to be mild, so when we get a drier one we get some very nice, crisp, cold, and clear nights for stargazing. |

I see stars most nights when I take Jericho out for his last pp of the day. Sorry to hear it's so unusual for you, Goliath. Every Star Trek fan should be able to revel in a starry night. |

^^ Same here unless it is raining or we are just having an overcast day. Usually though, it is not that hard to see stars. Glad you enjoyed your stary night Goliath. ![]() ----- We had a blue moon recently (i.e. full moons two days in a row). Did anyone go out and do a moon dance on the second night of the full moon. --- I see a Ladybug! |

Hi 24!!! I did look up at the blue moon and appreciate it. I also gave a wink for Neil Armstrong. The blue moon is the one that's supposed to make people fall in love. Maybe it would help to have someone you're interested in when the blue moon rolls around. Oh well... back to dreaming of Trip Tucker!

I see the stars and the milkyway everynight unless the weather is disagreeable. And the moon is usually up during the day at this time of year. However it is amazing at night time to look at through a telescope, i took a few detailed pics once, which i'll upload as soon as they are on my laptop. --- And goodluck to Mini-Swidden! Just as mini-Swid starts, I head down the home stretch. So I wish you goodluck! Is he or she your oldest? --- And well done 24, on passing the driving exam! -- And on a side not I do apologise for my recent absence I'm afraid since I'm coming to the end of Year 11 I've been rather busy, however mid semester break is coming up. |

I'm not sure why it makes a difference, but the hot spots don't seem to work with Internet Explorer. I have version 8 and it just takes you to Star Trek search results. I saw the hot spots and the animations using Firefox. In case anyone misses it, here's a YouTube video that shows all the animations (some other ones posted on YouTube miss a few hot spots). Dandandat had a problem with it too. Don't know if he was using Explorer or what. I've been using Firefox and it worked fine for me. |
