Our family cat "Sophie" died 18 months ago after developing a tumour. Having her put down was very hard and it was a very sad time but i like to think she is in a better place now. Knowing we had given her a good life with lots of love helped lessen the blow at the end.
Ohh, that's too bad. I've had to have a few animals put down over the years. Its not easy. They become little family members.

Our family has lost many cats and dogs over the years, some when they were young and some when they were old, but whatever age they have died at it has always been sad. We do have many happy memories though, and never regretted having them as part of our family. :D

^ There needs to be an airline that caters to Senior citizens in particular. This would solve a lot of problems like that.

...and it does sound like your family needs a reality check with your father.
That would be great, 24th!

Oh, well. I have decided to just turn that over to God and so far it does seem to be working for a couple of my siblings.

It seems like the weather here is about to turn nasty again. I hate the cold but not nearly as much as i dislike snow.
I'll just have to stay indoors, wrap up warm and hope for more pleasant weather to arrive soon LOL. :'(

I admire anyone who raises money for charity.
There are so many different causes that need help and never enough money.
A big pat on the back for STF! :D

We had a little bit of snow here this evening although thankfully not as much as we had last weekend.
The roads in the north are treacherous at the moment as ice has formed, with several accidents occurring.
I don't think anyone has died yet but one man was in a serious condition in hospital.

I'll be glad when it starts to get warmer. A couple of nights ago i stayed up late but forgot to wrap up warm so i ended up with a bit of a chill. :'(
Fortunately i'm starting to feel better now and have learnt my lesson. That is one dumb thing i will not do again.
I just have to hope i don't replace it with something else equally dumb in the future LOL.

My hair is doing a good job of falling out on it's own and what is left is rapidly turning grey.
It would not take too long to shave the rest of my hair off LOL. :'(

Psyched for tonight, our band is doing a showcase set at the legendary Toad's Place in New Haven...hopefully it will lead to a future booking there (like opening for a known artist)...

I've been to Toad's many, many times over the decades but have never played there...Toad's is one of those clubs that EVERYONE has played at on their way up (such as Bruce Springsteen, U2, INXS, The Ramones, Shiela E.) or even after they've made it big (like Blue Oyster Cult, Bob Dylan, Robert Cray, even The Rolling Stones). It's not as much THE place like it used to be over the past five years or so...but it's still Toad's Place, and still has it's aura to it.
