Have y'all seen those Febreeze commercials where they supposedly spray a really dirty place with Febreeze, bring someone in and test to see if the person smells the garbage/dirty dishes and whatnot?

The person is surprised to learn they are standing in the middle of a trashy room when the blindfold is removed.

Total bunk. I don't care how much freshener you spray, you can't totally mask the kind of garbage they were showing present in those rooms.

Maybe the test subjects were suffering from stuffy noses at the time... ;)

Survived the family Christmas Eve at the in-laws yesterday. Now onto my dads for Christmas Day.... Hubby and the boys got me one of those digital picture frames to put Casey's pictures on :: sad smile :: That was so sweet of them!

Going to have a pot roast, Au Gratin potatoes, either creamed corn or carrots and peas, crescent rolls and blackberry Dina Kuchen for dessert. And DS#1 used Russian Blackberries, not the usual store bought blackberries in his Dina Kuchen Yummmmmy

hope everyone has a safe Christmas <3

^^ Sounds good!

We had party platter type foods at the family Christmas party the other night. I was definitely glad when that get together was over.

I cooked a shank ham overnight in the slow cooker, pulled it apart and made BBQ for today. We also had Cole slaw, baked beans, chips and a few different kinds of sweets/candies. We have a homemade cheese spread snack too. We'll eat off that all day today.

We don't usually cook heavy meals on Christmas like we do Thanksgiving.

I'm glad that it is all done, too. Now to find a doctor that can figure out why my DS#1 has such bad gut aches and gurd. And he wants to get it found out while he has met the insurance deductible. Ahhhhh, to be 24 again.
