^^

You have been having a time with those lights this year! Thank goodness you have a circuit breaker!

Actually, my other story was a reply to Intrepid because of her light problems, but it happened a few years ago. I didn't have any problems this year until this time.

The first time a few years ago, it took me awhile to find the circuit breaker switch. It's not in the main breaker box. It's just a little trip switch attached to an individual socket. The socket is in the back of my garage... I don't know why the electrician didn't put all the switches in the breaker box. The sockets at the back of my kitchen counters have their own switches too.

Probably having to do with expediency on their part and/or having to go back and add a forgotten switch. Unfortunately, their lack of forethought (most likely) created an inconvenience for the owner.

So, does you little one enjoy the lights? Is she excited about Santa coming? :ornament:

My daughter loves the lights. And she's very excited about Santa this year. I can tell this is going to be a great year to watch her open presents!

So what's on Little Miss Impulse Engine's wish list from Santa this year?

She doesn't want an I-Pod yet, does she?

 Nope, not an I-Pod. :no2:

She wants a Barbie "12 Dancing Princesses" carriage, a Barbie dog, a Barbie car (can you tell she like Barbie? :D), and a gymnastics mat. She wants a Disney Princesses bicycle too, but she doesn't know it yet. ;)

I once saw a banana with a whip in her hand.  Was it my imagination or was it the other board?

I don't know about one with a whip, but there is one out there with a leather mask and a sword... :D :scared: :dembanana:

I actually came across one with a whip, but I don't think I want to add that one. :rotfl:

Maximus Toeis Crustitis,

You need an abbreviated form of your name.  It's much to formal.

What do you think about Maxi Crusi?

I think we oughtta just go with Crusty...

(I have a hunch Crusty's gonna have an aneurysm if he comes across too many of those dancing bananas...)

:dembanana: <- What on earth?

And there's no violent smileys to kill the bananas

Aand is it just me, or is the shiny star inappropriately placed here -> :blueangel: ;)

I had some really nasty egg nog today. Yuck!

I saw an odd thing today. I went to finish my Christmas shopping today and drove past a dead deer on the side of the road. When I was on my way home I passed a man and a woman in a mini-van who had pulled over on the side of the road near the deer. The man was in the driver's seat and the woman was holding the deer's hind leg up looking at its privates. :jawdrop:

I'm wondering if this woman had plans to hack off its genitals and make a stew or something. :rotfl:

:loling:

That reminds me. Years ago, my wife and I were shopping in a supermarket in Maryland (where she grew up and her mother still lived at the time) and we saw some lamb testicles packaged for sale in the meat department. It became a running joke for a few years after that every time we saw food we didn't like. We'd say, "It could be worse; it could be lamb balls!"

Sadly, that's a rather common occurence here on my road. You have to be really careful driving home at night because those deer just cross the road where they want.

What the heck was that lady looking for?

So true. I've lived in Michigan since 1993, and have hit three deer during that time. Two were killed, and two of our cars were badly damaged as a result. I slow down to 35-40 m.p.h. on back roads during their migrating season. I see them almost every day on my way to work.

Deer are plentiful where I live as well. Although, more often than not, I see them dead on the side of the road than when they are still alive.

I was out with my dad once and we hit a deer at night - wrecked the car!

For such a small animal, they can do some serious damage to a car.

Actually, considering how cheaply constructed cars are made these days (e.g with fiberglass bodies), I'm not all that surprised when there is extensive damage.

Yes. I've often wondered (seriously) what it would be like to collide with a moose. Now that's a large animal!

Moose.

You ever wonder why it is moose for the plural and not "meese"?
