Haven't been around much lately, wall to wall exams and assignments. The weather is really quite hot. Well, I got a position as a Peer Supporter for next year, which is basically you get put into a selected home class of grade 8's, and you stay in it until you finish high school, which is until grade 12. Should be fun!

Well, one more week of grade 10, then a long summer vacation, then back to school for grade 11! I'm pumped! This is where the serious stuff begins, what I do now goes towards my OP score. I'm aiming for a high OP.

Thankyou! I got my maths result back, and my results are improving, but most of the exams are next tuesday! :)

Well, we might be heading down to the beach for a few days, but its hard to fit things in with christmas just around the corner and I'm also waiting to hear whether I got the job I was after. But apart from that, its going to be quiet! :)

I have since heard that pharyngitis is widespread down here and my symptoms fit. So that's probably what I have.
I'm trying to keep from getting sick. Two people in my family that I am around a lot are sick/getting sick. I hope I'm not next. I've been drinking a ton of water and tripling up on my vitamins! That and I am doing a lot of disinfecting. LOL.
Good luck with that. My daughter wasn't so lucky. With Mommy and Daddy both sick, I guess it was just a matter of time. Thursday night she had the sore throat and fever and was also throwing up. By Friday morning, it had all subsided, but we really couldn't be sure until some of the day went by that her tummy would be ok. So I stayed home with her yesterday. By afternoon she was all congested like a regular cold. This is a nasty bug. I'm still not completely over it myself. I still have a really annoying nagging cough.

My daughter is having a joint birthday party tomorrow with one of her gymnastics team mates. I hope she's feeling better by then.

That is amazing that technology will allow you to keep that piece of your son.

It did thank you. :) She was still pretty congested, but she managed to have a good time. Her birthday party was held at the gym where she does gymnastics and was joint party with another team mate. They were allowed to do whatever they wanted on the equipment which they normally can't do. Some of the friends who were invited don't do gymnastics and there was a coach giving them a few pointers on the trampoline, double mini, and some of the other equipment.

Fortunately, my own sickness held off for that day, but the flood gates opened up on Sunday. I went to a clinic and was told I have a sinus infection and bronchitis. Last night, my nose was so runny I literally couldn't get through 5 minutes without blowing my nose. And that was with medication too. I was up 4 times during the night because I couldn't stop coughing. Well at least I'm on an antibiotic now so hopefully it will all be gone soon.

Sounds cool about the party. Hope you get your cold under control quick!

I'm still hanging in there and not getting sick.
