No school for me, although my daughter is starting high school in less than a month. I'm not sure who is more nervous!
LOL, it's okay, it's my first year of high school too and my mom's freaking out. :P

My niece starts tomorrow! She's excited but also simultaneously lamenting the end of her summer!

I'll not be lamenting the end of summer, as surprising as that can be. :P

That's good that she still gets excited about school!

I've been planning a practical joke on an unsuspecting family member for about two days now, and the stupid thing bombed tonight! I'll get the next person though. *evil laugh*

We've been getting a lot of rain too, but it's typical for us at this time of year. That doesn't help me be any less sick of it though. :D

How the heck does someone eat a 7 pound breakfast burrito?! :thud:

Includes:

A small bucket of potatoes
12 eggs
1 pound of ham
1 onion
10 ounces of fire roasted chilies.
Top later of cheese.

Actually no. We have outsourced a project to a company who has been horrible. They were "done" about 3 weeks ago. When I reviewed their work, it was full of problems - many so obvious, you have to wonder if they even checked their own work at all before telling us it was done. Ever since, I have been reviewing this daily, sending them a list of things they need to fix, and the very next morning there's always an email telling me it's "done", but no it isn't really... We got fed up and made a stink about it at the beginning of last week. They apologized and promised to do better. The next time they were "done" was Friday. So on Friday, I spent the entire day going over every detail of their work as well as all the past documents of corrections I had sent them to see how much they have really done at this point. By the end of the day, I had produced an 11 page document of things they still need to fix - many have been on every list I have sent them over the past 3 weeks and are still not done!

I had told my employer at one point that I think we need to fire this company, but unfortunately it's not an option for various reasons. So I'm stuck with this nonsense for awhile to come yet.

It looks like more rain is forecast for this afternoon followed by more rain tomorrow and more rain Wednesday. On Thursday we're supposed to get more rain and maybe a hurricane on Friday. It's looking like a great week... ;)

They sound like an incompetent business. At some point, I hope your boss says enough is enough.
