21 inches! Geeze! I guess y'all are used to that though and your roads probably get cleared off pretty fast.
Yeah, normally. That's a lot of snow even for us though..lol When it's this bad, everything closes down and the roads are normally cleared off by the end of the storm(or the day if it continues, and then again at the end). We have a pretty big snow removal budget lol.

I image so. Is that your cat? He's a cutey. Scratch his belly for me.

STC, is your avatar from one of the SW movies (Episode II maybe?) or a SW game?

I think she is in "Attack of the Clones". She is certainly in "Revenge of the Sith", and is killed along with most of the other Jedi when 'Order 66' is executed. :(

I believe she's also in the animated series - Clone Wars?

Her name is Aayla Secura :)

Ahh, okay. Yep, that was pretty intense when Order 66 was issued. I watched "Revenge of the Sith" last week. When Anakin killed the Younglings, there was no going back for him at that point. I'm watching "A New Hope" right now. Well, not this very second. I'm looking at the computer screen at the moment.

The Spike channel airs SW movies practically every week.

I find that I don't like being a passenger in cars. People I know drive like maniacs.

Yeah that's my little girl Arwen. A pain in the butt sometimes, but a sweetie nonetheless.

I know what you mean. I was a passenger in a car with a friend over the weekend. I almost choked his neck while he was driving. The worst of it was, he was driving my car.

That was too stressful. :pullhair:

Like, why do you adjust your mirrors when you've already been driving the car for 5 miles?
And why are you more concerned with the radio/CD player while you're driving?
And why do you have to look at every house we pass? Not only glance but the whole head turning thing.....

Nice guy but he drives like a maniac.

People fidgeting around the car after the car is moving drives me nuts! If I am in the car with my mom, she is moving mirrors, lighting cigarettes, grabbing things out of her purse and who knows what else. Then there is the quick starts and stops. Getting up real close to the car ahead of us before hitting the breaks. I'm like AHHHHHH in my head!

I adjust my mirrors before I leave the driveway and usually don't have to anymore once I'm on the move. I do change the radio station when driving, but I can push the button while paying attention to the road. I don't do a whole lot else. My hands stay on the steering wheel and my eyes ahead for the most part.

I don't know if it's just me getting just older but things easily irritate me anymore. Do you guys ever get to that point sometimes? Like the guy who was in driving my car this weekend. Nice guy but when he started doing that stuff, I was too easily bothered and wanted to push him out of the car.

Probably why I'm not married today.

Um, yeah ... like every day. :frust: Is that a bit much?
Perhaps it is because as we get older, we realize that we probably have less time ahead than we used to, and we don't want to waste any of it.

Most days, I just want to get home and have a nice soft purring kitty curl up in my lap.

Mel, I like your kitty's pic. Scratch Arwen under the chin for me. Does she purr loudly? I have one that has a Harley Davidson motor for a purr, and one that you just can't hear at all, but can only feel.

Hopefully we won’t end up sitting on the front porch when we get old and grey yelling obscenities at passerby’s for making too much noise.

I just noticed your “Read-Only” message for your board. Are you closing your board?
Yep, I've decided to close it. :( I left it read only for those who still want to read stuff from the past. There's just no interest anymore.

Thanks. :) That's like the only decent pic I have of her. All the others show her in a weird position or with glowing eyes, but that's the kind of photographer I am.

I'm sorry to hear that Mel. I know how hard it is to make a small board attractive in a "market" of millions of message boards out there.
