Now I'm thinking of Fat Albert! :o :D

Me too right after I typed that and re-read the comment. :rotfl:

Yes, Dancing Queen is an excellent tune as well! Good choice.

Dancing Queen is in the head and won't leave now.

I liked some of Abba's music too.

I remember the cartoon, many many years ago....

:D
Too many years ago...

Some of those characters were funny. Right now the only name that comes to mind is Mushmouth.

I know I haven't heard from her in a while.

I think she's having some trouble with stuff in real life. :(

I got an email a couple of days ago. She's having problems, but don't worry, she hasn't lost her sense of humour. :)

Well if you talk with her soon, tell her we said hello. Whatever is going on, I hope things work out for her.

I don't recall Intrepid mentioning anything about this. Perhaps I missed it?

^^

She hasn't mentioned anything on the Boards to my knowledge. Perhaps this is something she has talked about with Big Boss and/or Mel via other means.

We are here for her if she needs us though. :wave2:

I suppose I could order her back, but she deserves some away time. ;)

We're gonna have a -36C windchill tomorrow, and could get as cold as -40. :o

That's -32.8 degree Fahrenheit to -40 degree Fahrenheit.

:banghead: <--- I'm banging my head on a wall, and it's so cold that my head is blue.

It was warm yesterday and today, but it is going to drop back down into the low 30s (F) the rest of the week. We might even get a "wintry mix" this Thursday. :wow: Which just means sleet/freezing rain.

I'm glad I'm not where you live Mel, that is cold!! Time to crank up the heat!

We had 15 degrees wind chill today. But then, it warmed up somewhat. The snow we got a week or so ago is melting.

No matter how many re-run episodes I watch of the sitcom Roseanne, I can still usually laugh.

Like I am watching the episode, Canoga Time right now and the family is clearing out old junk for a rummage sale. There was a scene where Dan acted like Elvis, and Roseanne and her sister Jackie were the fans fighting over the scarf that "Elvis" threw at them. It was just hilarious. The comedy on this series was great.

If I can stay in tomorrow, I couldn't care less. I don't have any errands to run until Thursday so I'm fine until then.

I really don't see them allowing kids to wait outside for school buses in -35C degree weather... Especially the really young ones.. :(

What a day, what a day! It all started yesterday when a program update that I was installing throughout our office didn't go so well and I had to abort the installation. However, the changes in the program update were really needed ASAP so I spent my whole day going through the program to ensure that it would be ready for tonight. I did get it ready and the update went much better. :)

That was the good news. The bad news is that the problems I encountered last night mean that several other programs that were being modified in the same way also need to be corrected before I can distribute them.

Without getting into all the details, the update simply required changing many -1's to 1's throughout the program. But the catch was to change only certain ones and not others. The problem I encountered was because some -1's that were supposed to stay -1's had been changed. I'll probably be doing the corrections for the next 4 or 5 days. :(

Well, with that, I'm off in search of some zzzz's. What am I doing still up at 2am anyway...?

-34C wind chill this morning, and schools are still open...

I hate this place. If I didn't have to work, I would keep my daughter home today. It's too cold to be waiting outside for a bus. 3 years ago, they were canceling classes left and right for this type of weather... :realmad:
