I'm doing very well. I got my Charmed fix tonight, and then we watched an episode of Monk (from Season Two).

Re: Monk

I watched the series when it first aired, but for some reason I could never get into it. Not a bad premise for a show though.

Yes, I recall you saying that on the other Board. I still think the first season is the weakest (although there are some gems in it). We really love the show. It has gotten more complex, with two (and sometimes three) storylines in one and the same episode the norm. I have grown to like Natalie Teeger as much as Sharona, which I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do. I hope you give it another chance one day. :)

Doing pretty good 24. It was a warm breezy 60F today. Haven't worn my winter coat yet. Maybe this strange weather has a lot to do with the influx of this terrible virus which causes people to spend most of their waking hours in the bathroom....
if ya know what I mean...... I'm constantly using hand sanitizers hoping I don't get the bug.

Haven't done a lick of shopping yet. Nope... ain't gonna do it because I'm not in the trekking mood yet. That might come later in the season. If I'm lucky, maybe it'll hit me AFTER Christmas.

/insert BAH HUMBUG smiley

Other than that, I'm pretty good. How are you all?

I'm doing okay. I still need to do some more shopping.

The weather is still back and forward here. One day really cold, the next day its closer to spring weather.

I had a head cold a couple of weeks ago, but I am finally getting over it.

We had some nasty rain last night and it affected all the holiday lights on my house. My circuit breaker tripped and everything went off. When I tried to put the breaker switch back on, it kept tripping off again. I finally discovered that a flood light (that shines on a holiday sign) was out. So I removed it. The lights stayed on for 30 seconds and then back out again. So I quit because it was dark. Tonight I checked everything just before dusk and it was all in order so I didn't fix anything. So far the lights have stayed on. I even put the flood light back because I had a spare. The only thing I can figure is that water must have gotten into something and it dried since last night.

Actually, my other story was a reply to Intrepid because of her light problems, but it happened a few years ago. I didn't have any problems this year until this time.

The first time a few years ago, it took me awhile to find the circuit breaker switch. It's not in the main breaker box. It's just a little trip switch attached to an individual socket. The socket is in the back of my garage... I don't know why the electrician didn't put all the switches in the breaker box. The sockets at the back of my kitchen counters have their own switches too.

Probably having to do with expediency on their part and/or having to go back and add a forgotten switch. Unfortunately, their lack of forethought (most likely) created an inconvenience for the owner.

So, does you little one enjoy the lights? Is she excited about Santa coming? :ornament:

Those whipped cream topped cakes are unpleasant tasting to me for some reason.

I'll take regular icing on mine, please.

Maximus Toeis Crustitis,

You need an abbreviated form of your name.  It's much to formal.

What do you think about Maxi Crusi?

I think we oughtta just go with Crusty...

(I have a hunch Crusty's gonna have an aneurysm if he comes across too many of those dancing bananas...)

I’m not a big fan of the bananas either, but if Intrepid wants bananas...she gets bananas!

I may eventually move them out of the Clickable Box though. That way, I won’t have to see them every time I see the Box.

My daughter loves the lights. And she's very excited about Santa this year. I can tell this is going to be a great year to watch her open presents!

It really doesn't take much to please me. An occacional dancing banana really uplifts the spirit. Thanks 24.

I once saw a banana with a whip in her hand. Was it my imagination or was it the other board?

So what's on Little Miss Impulse Engine's wish list from Santa this year?

She doesn't want an I-Pod yet, does she?
