One must wonder about the mind that thinks up an elephant on a trampoline. :headscratch:

That looks like a large arena, so I am going to go with large trampoline.

This time change has me all out of whack. I normally would be ready to go to sleep right now.

Not hardly sleepy at all. :ermm:

Well that was fun! One of the employees that I supervise just overwrote some very important data in our database by accident. It affected every record. We had to restore the data from our backup and then get creative about restoring today's work which isn't backed up yet. You gotta love Mondays!

Sounds like a pain. :throwcomp:

Mistakes like that are easy to make though. One wrong click of a button and you can wipe out a lot of information.

At least you had a backup leading up to today. :coolshake: It could have been worse. :scared:

Yep, you're right on both accounts. I've made my own mistakes, just not quite THAT bad. :D

What a pain, Impulse Engine. Hope you've gotten it all straightened out again.

We'll be having a lot of fun at my workplace next week ... we're moving the warehouse to a new building. They've given us lots and lots of racking and shelves, but virtually no floor space to work in. I'm going to end up taping and packaging the product I have to work with in an aisle because my 5 feet of allotted space is going to be taken up by my 5-foot desk.
I'd love to know who has been been making some of these really horrible decisions in our company lately. :bat:

I did thanks.

Moving? Ooh, what fun! :no2: We did that a few years ago in my company. Now that we're here, it was worth all the aggravation, but getting here was a pain. It sounds like you'll be having lots of "fun" as well.

Geeze, it seems like you just moved your warehouse less than a year ago.

Will you have much further to drive to get to work now?

Well, when it comes to work, no one can put her foot in her mouth better than I can.

When it comes to beauracracy, office politics and red tape, don't ask me what I think. I oftentimes make the mistake of letting people at work what I think. People get offended by that. At least my boss does. She somehow appreciates those who kiss her rear end and protects her people.

It's really been aggravating me lately but I all I need to do is destress. Eat more.

Some bosses don't want the truth. They want the status quo. Sounds like you have the latter.

Don't be afraid to keep it real, Intrepid. :highfive:

I had the Tina Turner version in my mind. :D

I'll look into getting a Tina Turner smilie. ;)

There is some kind of freaky cosmic thing going on today. I stopped by a local shopping center to pick up some Chinese food today. As I was going into the restaurant, I passed a woman and child. They didn’t look like anyone I knew, but for some reason when I saw the woman, the mother of a childhood neighbor popped into my head.

I went in and picked up my food. When I was returning to my car, guess who I ran into in the parking lot? Yep, my former neighbor’s mother. :jawdrop:

She had just pulled up and gotten out of her car. I think its been a good fifteen years since I last ran into her.

I saw no sign that they were there together or knew each other. So a family resemblance/connection setting my mind in that direction didn't appear to be the reason for me thinking about the woman. Or would logically explain the woman being there at that time.

Yup, that's odd. Some coincidences are just a little too coincidental. We've talked about similar things before so I know how strange the experience can seem. But before it was more on the line of 2 alike things happening in a row. Yours here seems almost more related to a premonition or something. *Insert Twilight Zone music* Fascinating! :D
