French is so sexy.

That's why I chose it as my foreign language course in high school. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of opportunity to keep the French language in practice here in Colorado, so I've lost so much of it. Although there was that one time that I happened to cross paths with some French tourists in Rocky Mountain National Park on a trail, and I was able (with the assistance of a map) to help them figure out where they were as opposed to where they wanted to be, and then how to get there.

Hi everybody! Don't know what Sunday is like in your neck of the woods but it's gloomy and wet here. I can't wait for a nice spring day when I can finally open my window and let the cool breeze in.

Bought a new vacuum cleaner yesterday. :yippee: I know, I know. It doesn't take much to get me excited anymore. So I spent most of the day vacuuming everything.... anything. Just plain getting a kick out of seeing the bagless container fill up and say, "ewwww....".

I know. Get a life Intrepid. :goof:

Have a good day everybody.

I have a bagless vacuum cleaner, and I am amazed when I dump the container out too.

You ought to see how fast a bagless vacuum cleaner can fill up when there are shedding cats in the house. I swear they can shed hair at will.

It's amazing how much dust builds up in so little time. My cousin and I are your average bachelors so we finally hired a maid just before my parents came to visit. I really didn't want them seeing my live like that. Now it's somewhat presentable, but she still comes by every weekend.

Yep. My cat seems to shed year 'round. Much more during the summer time though.

Neat that your parents got to visit you. Did they have a good time?

Sirus,
It seems like parents always want to see for themselves where and how their kids are living, no matter how old the kids get to be. Once a parent, always a parent. I'm glad they could make a trip to visit you.

I've been watching the movie Nine Months. This movie is funny.

I loved it when they beat up the Arnie Dinosaur.

Hey everybody! How is everyone?

The sun finally came out here in Taiwan and I took full advantage of it last night biking around 60km (40 miles) problem is now, I can barely walk! It's going to take a couple of days to get my biking legs back so to speak. It was also the Taipei Lantern Festival and I forgot my camera. There were dozens of people in the parks shooting off fireworks (which sometimes came a little too close) and building and launching huge paper lanterns into the sky with hopes and dreams for the new year written on them so as to send a message to heaven of what they hope for. It was a really nice night, warm and the lanterns drifting up and over the river were all very beautiful as well as the fireworks. And it was a full moon too. I think the funk has finally passed now that I have some endorphins racing around my brain again.

Glad the funk is passing.

Too bad you forgot your camera. I bet those would have been some lovely pictures.

Yeah, sorry, kind of forgot about KOT for a couple weeks, then (obviously incorrectly) assumed it was probably dead for a while.

But here to stay now

We hit a few rough patches, but we made it through.

KOT is definitely here to stay. :)
