I didn't watch it. I have heard his new single and seen the video that goes with it. The song is pretty good and the video is very engaging. The name of the song is... *24 goes to look up the name of the song* |

My electricity when out for about two hours hours real early this morning. Talk about a pain in the butt having to reset everything. Very annoying having to reprogram the VCR. |

There were some really strong winds last night. I could hear garbage cans clunking down the street last night. We eventually lost power and I had to leave for work anyway. When I got home, our power was restored so we're okay now. It was a freaky night last night. |

Wow, that does sound like strong winds. Glad you got your power back.
It can get really annoying fast when there's no power.Edit: 24, that happens to me about once every 2 weeks. Luckily, it's usually a fast blink and only some things have to be reset. It always includes my alarm clock though.

What a coincidence that you lost power too. Glad everything is back up and running.
Every two weeks!? That would drive me insane having to reprogram everything (or many things) so often. Is your power company using substandard materials (e.g. power lines and such)? Or do you guys just need more power plants to meet the demand in your area? Or are people running into power poles and transformers every two weeks? Or... just kidding. I was on a roll with the questions there. ![]() |

Its February already! ![]() I guess it could have been worse. It could be July. I took mine down within two days after Christmas. Christmas lights outside the house down by July. I hope.

I believe in battery-back-up alarm clocks ... unless you are looking for a good excuse to get up late for work. Sorry I haven't been around the boards much letely. Lots of overtime at work these days (working late through the week and Saturdays too). Still struggling with that wretched software system at work, so I frequently don't feel like even looking at my computer once I get home for the evening. Hope you're all doing well!

Yes, those are handy. I replaced my alarm clock a few years ago with one that lets me wake up to a CD song of my choice - and, unfortunately, it doesn't have a battery backup. But I do set my travel alarm clock to go off about 15 minutes later just in case. It has saved me on occasion. (I think... ;))

^^^ It's kind of warm up here too. We hit the high 50's and we're getting a LOT of rain. Didn't even wear my jacket today, it was so pleasant. It felt like spring. People are sick, sick, sick. Runny noses, strep throat, flu like symptoms, pneumonia even. You name an orifice, something is coming out of it. Wash wash wash your hands KOTers. Stay healthy. |

Weather's wacky here in Denver, too. Strong winds tonight are blowing in snow flurries from the mountains, but tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40's, and Friday should be around 50 degrees. Good advice from Intrepid about washing hands frequently. Remember to wash them with antibacterial soap for the length of time that it takes to sing "Twinkle, twinkle, little star ..." the whole way through. And if you start to feel sick, start taking echinacea right away to lessen the duration and severity. |

^^ Nope, we have had that smiley for several months now. I was watching Scooby-Doo earlier that evening, and had that in my head. |

Have y’all seen the new Monster commercial? The subtext is… “Don’t fight Monday”. The commercial shows entire neighborhoods of people running out with pillows and other larger objects to attempt to block the sun from rising. I like this commercial. The music and concept are pretty awesome. |

Had a weird dream last night. I was invited to sleep over at Barack Obama's house but somehow ended up sleeping in the entry way on my aerobed. I guess the house was full and people were up in the livingroom... everywhere. Mr and Mrs Obama had to leave early in the morning to get breakfast for everybody and I was in their way in the entryway. Then I woke up hungry. |

You have definitely got politics on your mind. ![]() The food part is similar to how a person dreams of water when they need to wake up and go to the bathroom. You were dreaming of food because your body was hungry. How about that interpretation? |

I messed up something big time on my computer tonight. I accidentally deleted the wrong Registry Key and half of my programs cease to function. My CPU usage popped up to 100%. It was stuck. All I can say is thank goodness for "System Restore". ![]() |
