Wow. Its um, errr.. very nice. I foget the name of the team. Something like the Wickershire Brussel Sprouts? ![]() Even though the shirts are similar, I prefer the style of last year's shirt. |

The smell of gasoline does NOT wash off your hands very easily. |

I prefer last years shirt too. This years has a big white stripe down the back though. Petrol is the nicest smell in the world. Why would you want to wash it off?

The design is sounding worse and worse. Tell them you are a person, not a car that needs a racing stripe.
Although, with your love of cars...
That is one of the most persistent smells. So is chicken skin/fat. I remove the skin from my chicken before I bake it, and it takes several washings to get that smell off too. |

^^^ Quite nice, Big Boss. Please forgive my ignorance ... I'm assuming this is an officially-licensed jersey, but I'm unfamiliar with the team or sport. Rugby? Football (a.k.a. soccer in the U.S.)? |

I just tasted something truly heinous. Spitting them out in the trash can heinous. They are called Quaker Multigrain Cakes. The Cinnamon Toast flavor. They are rice cakes. Avoid them like the plague people. This public service announcement was made possible by the generosity of the makers of Stomach-Pumps-R-Us. |

I think cardboard would taste better. ![]() I like several kinds of rice cakes, but this thing had a really bad off taste to it. I don't know how it made it past the taste testers. |

Hi Everybody! How were all the New Year celebrations. I went away for the weekend and tried to find some peace and solace in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Actually, we went to the Poconos for some skiing. No family this time. I think I'm all "familied" (spelling?) out. So now I'm back in town with a sore throat and a cold. I don't get sick being around sick people but I do get sick when I'm with a bunch of friends. Oy! Hope you all had a great holiday season. Now it's back to work people. Chop! Chop!

Intrepid, That dog in your avatar has been traveling for quite a long time now! Does he (she?) ever stop to go... well, you know...? (Or is that the reason for the big hurry? :D) And he (she?) must have a serious wind burn by now! Gotta love that dog for still looking happy despite it all!

Just in case some of you don't feel like you're getting enough snow this winter, I'll share some with you. I went snowshoeing yesterday in Rocky Mountain National Park. The leading edge of that massive west coast snowstorm was moving into Colorado, hitting the mountains with another fresh dump of the white stuff. But I did go there to play in the snow, so we strapped on the snowshoes and plodded off. The trail is really quite nice, as you get 3 lakes only about a half-mile apart each. Unfortunately, it was snowing hard enough that we couldn't see the majestic peaks towering above them. The first picture is showing how snow drifted up around some rocks. The second is looking down onto the first lake that we passed (Nymph Lake) http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/Trib...atNymphLake.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/Trib...onNymphLake.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/Trib...esnowshoers.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/Trib...veNymphLake.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g16/Trib...ngDreamLake.jpg And, yes, we really are walking on the lakes. They're frozen solid. Some of them still retain ice well into June. |

Wow! Those are great TribbleMom. I like the fourth picture. That is some angle y'all are snowshoeing at. I hate that all of your photos are getting buried in this thread. You should consider starting a Blog or a separate thread here for us. Even if so you can post about all of your outdoor excursions. |

Agreed! Blog your photos TribbleMom. I can't believe we aren't getting any snow in Pittsburgh. Those pictures are beautiful Tribblemom but I sense it's a little dangerous snowshoeing in those conditions. Is it? Okay, here comes the really, really dumb question. What's is snowshoeing. I think that's the first time I heard that term. Blog the photos Tribblemom, they're beautiful. BTW, when did you do this? Was this a weekend outing? |
