Cool! And it has a nice paint job. :rotfl:

I'll never forget that mixed bonded look you had on one of your old cars. Classic. :P

WEll it's sitting at the side of the road there because the cam belt snapped and my engine blew up. It never moved under it's own power after that pic was taken. :(

Sitting on the side of the road out and about, or near where you live?

Since you have another car now, you could probably sell that one for parts.

I'm heading off to bed now. I will talk with you again soon. Have a good night. :wave2:

It was near my friends house, about two miles away from my house. I scrapped the car. I kept things like the headlights, spoiler, wheels that can be sold, but as yet I still ahven't gotten around to selling them.

Goodnight 24! Sweet dreams! :)

Well, I hope you are able to make a profit off the parts. At least that is something.

I actually ended up having a variation of a sporadic reoccuring dream. So it wasn't all that sweet.

Thanks for the sentiment anyway. :D

Its daytime now, you must be headed to bed. Hope you have a sound one.

Big Boss, sorry to hear about the broken window in your car. I had that happen to me last month, too. It's too bad that some other folks just can't leave alone the things that aren't theirs.

Boy... time is flying.

I just checked my turkey in the fridge and it's still frozen. I still have two days.

How is everybody?

Doing fine. The turkey should thaw out in plenty of time.

Luckily we aren't eating turkey this year. Woo! We are cooking a ham for a change.

Hey TribbleMom! How's life treating you? Things easing up for you at work?

Thanks for asking, but I'm afraid they're really not easing much. We're just getting more accustomed to doing twice the computer work we used to. I still bang my head on my desk about every day wondering how on earth this new software can possibly be good for anyone in our company. And I absolutely cringe whenever the accounting department calls me over a price discrepancy in our return files. There's nothing I can do about how the computer automatically fills in the prices and costs of our merchandise for us, and I have no idea why it doesn't agree with the costs showing from their end. :pullhair:

Hey TribbleMom,

I am watching a movie with The Rock in it called, Walking Tall (2004). Kind of corney and The Rock can't really act, but guess where the movie was filmed? :wow:

That's right! The same place Men in Trees is filmed. Except they show a lot more of the surrounding area.

They even showed the The Chieftain bar and that intersection it is located at.

I can't remember where this place is though. Somewhere in the upper Northwest or Canada.

Can't remember for sure, either, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were somewhere around Vancouver, B.C.

^^

According to the IMDb (just checked), the movie was filmed in Richmond, Sqaumish and Vancouver. All in British Columbia, Canada.

Men in Trees is filmed in Squamish and Vancouver.

I am so behind on watching my programs. I am hoping to get caught up this weekend. Part of the problem is that I am taping TOS episodes in the morning, and that makes it more cumbersome to wade through the tapes.

I might have to give up TOS for a couple of weeks until I can get back on track.

I've just awaken from a turkey coma.

It's over.

Did anyone go shopping on Black Friday? I must confess. I was at the mall at 4am. I am ashamed.

Why why why? What possessed me to do something as stupid as that? The line at Kohl's (I don't know if they have that store where you all live) was sooooo long that it wrapped around the entire store. There was a point where the line intersected somewhere in the middle and people didn't know where the end of the line was. I asked someone where the end of the line was and she kind of shrugged and said, "Beats me if I know where it is."

Of course there was no store employee to be found in the back of the store....

I wasn't about to let go of the Aerobed that was half priced only until 11am. I clutched that package like it was a life preserver and I was drowning in this sea of viscious, viscious women. (Yes, 95% of the people there were women).

I did something embarassing. I picked up a flyer from the floor and called the 866 number listed on the back of it.

:frustphone:

"Para espanol, primo el numero cinco"
No way Jose, El managero por favor

Press pound Intrepid, you'll get a human being :pullhair:

" :blah: :blah: :blah: " Press 1
" :blah: :blah: :blah: " Press 2
" :blah: :blah: :blah: " Press 3

*Press 3* :laughbounce:

"Century III Kohl's... Debbie speaking, may I help you?"

"Gotcha ..... can I tell you what I really want to say? No, I better tone it down.

"Good morning. I'm a customer in your store this very second. There is chaos in the back of the store and your assistance is needed immediately. I would hate to lose my spot, but if I have to come get you in your office, I will. Please come to the back of the store and make some semblance of these so called lines".

I don't think she knew how to take it but in five minutes, she was there trying to head off a mini riot. I did thank her personally and everyone felt better knowing they weren't standing there for nothing. Another hour and a half, I was at the front paying for my treasure. The line didn't seem that long because everybody started talking and the mood was much, much better.

If I had a teenage child, she'd be totally embarassed.

After that, I was at Home Depot at 6 am and got my dad that Gorilla ladder he wanted.

That's it. I'm done. I don't feel like shopping anymore... ever. :bluebanana:
