You could always attach some cereal boxes to an old trench coat, stick some knives in the boxes, and go as a "serial killer."

Every time I watch a rerun episode of Murder, She Wrote I recognize actors and actresses from other shows/series/movies that I have watched over the years.

I suspect that most actors/actresses of a certain age (35+) appeared on an episode of Murder, She Wrote at some point during their career.

I noticed Kate Mulgrew and LeVar Burton in Murder, She Wrote once. I don't watch it though. Just noticed them while flicking through.

What a weird day so far. TGIF!

What's on the agenda this weekend everyone?

I'm in the mood to read a good book.

My weekend agenda: work.
We are preparing for a computer system change, and so far things have not been going well. The change has been delayed and delayed while bugs were worked out, and now finally it looks like we'll be going live on Oct. 8th. So there's a big push now to accomplish as much work as possible beforehand so that the start-up doesn't happen when we're already behind. That means working Saturday and Sunday. Oh, and right after the software change comes a physical inventory. :(
It's been just insane at work lately, which is why I haven't been popping in here much lately.
Thank goodness this doesn't happen very often.

Sorry to hear you have to work the whole weekend Tribblemom. Hopefully, you're paid hourly. ;)

It's a great weekend to read a book 24. Rather nippy this morning but it's still a good day to read a book in bed. I'm kind of in a cleaning mood myself today. I found a little extra energy somewhere so I'm going to use it while it's there.

Then maybe tonight I'll go out with friends.... if I have any energy left.

Well that stinks! Hope time passes quickly for you this weekend and over the next couple of weeks as the new systems start up.

Intrepid,

The weather is slowly changing where I live too. I like when there is a little nip in the air. The dead heat of summer is not pleasant.

I did a bunch of cleaning yesterday. I just need to straighten up a bit this morning and I am all set in that regard.

I already have my book picked out. Might read it off and on today.

A bit of both really. I get slow days, then crazy days. Keeps things interesting though.

How are you?

I'm trudging along as usual.

Is it getting cold yet in the UK?

Edit: Your mention of EastEnders on the other thread has me thinking about how I occasionally watch Footballer's Wive$. Yes, I'm so ashamed. That show is one kooky primetime soap opera. Joan Collins was on it the last time I watched. She can play one Grand Diva.

Well, the show isn't Daytime Emmy or Oscar material, but its something fun to watch if you are in the mood for something outrageous and soap opera dramatic. :D Its been a month or two since I last saw it. I think they were just showing it here during the Summer.

BTW, as I was driving to work this morning, I looked west to see that the high mountains had a fresh dusting of snow. Very pretty in the morningn sunlight. Fall is definitely upon us.

Cool!

The temperatures have been dropping down overnight here. The days are still pretty warm though.

I'm not liking the way this Monday is shaping up.

It was a nice pleasant sunny drive to work. So I walk into my office and am confronted with 3 problems right off the bat. As I'm sitting here working on those three problems, I look out the window and the clouds are rolling in. Minutes later, it's raining! I've only been at work for 45 minutes...

Ah well, the way the weeks have been flying by lately, it's practically Friday anyway. :D
