Mfive and 24, I haven't seen that one (Krull). Is it science fiction? |

^^^ Thanks. The film Forbidden Planet (1956) had the Krell as an alien. Not related, just interesting.

Well, I am off to a funeral today. A friend from church (he was in his eighties) passed away (it was expected). Talk to you all later, and have a great day.

Thanks to both of you.
BTW, I didn't fib--I'm still waiting for a couple of children (we're taking two) to get ready.

My condolences, Warner. Maybe tell your kids to get the lead out. They might not know what you are talking about though if you have never used that expression.

^^^ Thanks. No, they wouldn't understand that expression, only because I don't think I've ever used it before.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Warner. Mel, good luck with the application for the grant. 24, did you know that handling something made of lead for a mere 20 seconds a day has been shown to cause brain damage in children? (That would explain a lot, wouldn't it? ) We definitely need to get the lead out when it comes to kids.

Good evening now.
What's going on folks? What a lazy weekend I had. I hope Intrepid didn't decide to stay at that University she was visiting. If there are cute professors everywhere, we may never see her again.

I'm tired. It was my cousin's birthday yesterday. We celebrated a bit too much. No more birthdays for me for a while...
I had fun though. |

Hi Everybody! I'm back from my trek to Virginia Tech with the niece. Oy... to be 21 again. We left Saturday morning. Spent the night in this picturesque little town of Blacksburg Virginia. What am I saying? Virginia Tech IS the town of Blacksburg Virginia. It's a beautiful campus. Next week I'll take her to visit the University of Michigan. I think the niece is feeling a little pressure from her parents. I can't imagine putting a child through college these days. The financial costs are mind boggling! The ride would have been relaxing except it was snowing and it was starting to get a little slippery on the road. I did enjoy myself and guess what 24. The professors weren't so good looking. The Corps of Cadets though..... yumi-licious. I was telling my niece.... go ask him where Burress Hall is.
Go ask *him* where you can get a can of coke. Go go go..... *Sigh* She's so shy.
