We're supposedly getting that snow. I'm supposed to drive my niece down to a town in Virginia called Blacksburg for a college visit. I hope it doesn't snow this weekend.

I'll miss you all terribly.

Goodness, it's really like a breath of fresh air coming to this Board. :)

It's sunny outside today, and the temperatures are climbing up to the mid forties. :)

As MFive would say, "AMEN". :)

Oh Warner,

Hurry up and see Season 3 of LOST. It's FANTASTIC! :dancingcow: I can't wait till next Wednesday.

Good morning! :)

Intrepid,

Take it easy on those roads.

We are watching a lot of Lost from seasons one and two again. I will eventually get around to the third season. As it is, we really went through the first two seasons very fast!

Some days are like that. I don't like it when it happens. But, I do love days where I am quite productive. :)

The Last Starfighter would be good choice. You bet a movie with Robert Preston in it.

I got another scholarship related letter today! It's called Wage Gap Action Plan Scholarship, and it's geared towards women who take courses in non-traditional fields. I had heard about this one, but didn't think I'd be eligible for it. I guess I am. :) It's only for 1st year students, and the amount is 2600$(one full year of tuition). I really hope to get this one. They're giving 55 of them in my province.

I have to write up a 500-1000 word essay about my prospective career plans in order to apply.

Wish me luck! :D

GMel,

Best wishes! Wow, fifty-five of them? Maybe I should apply. ;)

24 and Fire,

You both seem to know many of the same films (I'm assuming 24's quote is from the Preston film, yes)?

Nope, that is a take on a song that I unfortunately hear more than I would like to.

But I have seen The Last Starfighter. Its a good movie. One that I haven't seen in many years. One that I look back fondly on though.

24,

Have you ever seen Krull? I think Warner and his family would enjoy it as well.
