I stumbled upon the BBC in America channel this morning while trying to find something on the Syfy channel. Presumably, as a warm up to the premier of Episode 1 of Season 7, they were having a marathon of Dr. Who Season 6 episodes. I had not seen these before. I ended up watching part of Episode 4, Episodes 5, 6 and 9. I thoroughly enjoyed watching, especially Episode 5, "The Rebel Flesh" and Episode 6, "The Almost People".

Interesting plot in these two episodes which beings who have so much in common, in this case identitical memories and twin physical bodies, can still persuade themselves to (almost) fight each other to the death. Kind of like humans in real life fighting each other to the death over past grievances, prejudice, fear, and "self-defense".

Along with Wharehouse 13, Alphas, and Eureka, it is good to see that there is still some decent science fiction showing up on television. (No opinion on Lost Girl as I have not yet seen any episodes of that show yet.)
