I love that. I"m surprised it's still on youtube though. SNL is usually pretty fast at getting stuff taken down.
They must be getting lax on it. There are 1000s of SNL skits available. My favorite skits are usually the ones from the 80s and 90s.

It's great that such things can still be found online for people to enjoy even if "SNL" would prefer them not to be.
The internet is brilliant because there are many wonderful things to be found on it. This site being one of them! :D

I must say that i'm having great fun posting here. "KOT" is lovingly maintained and the people are very welcoming and friendly. It's to your credit 24 that this excellent site continues the way it does when there are so few (unfortunately and unfairly in my book) regular posters. There is absolutely no danger that i'll request a transfer to another ship. LOL :hail:

So, over the weekend we went to Santa Cruz to listen to one of the world's foremost ukulele players. During the course of the concert he played a piece inspired by the aforementioned SNL skit. It was titled "Less Cowbell, More Ukulele!"

He sounds like a fine ukulele player, but I'll take cowbell over the ukulele almost any day of the week. I don't know how you made it through a ukulele concert. I'd be wanting to take a nap about half way through.

He's really got a good stage presence and keeps you interested.

And, by way of a disclaimer of sorts, he used to date a girl we know. He's a nice guy and the fact that even though they went their separate ways a few years back he still dedicated a song during the performance to her and her family.

I've just listened to "Bohemian Rhapsody" Swidden, and although Jake Shimabukuro is clearly a very talented individual i'm glad that you went to see him play and not me. Santa Cruz is also rather a long way from my house. LOL :scuba:
Thankyou very much for posting the link though as i enjoy listening to music or acts that i've never heard before. :D

Speakng of Blue Oyster Cult in this thread and "Bohemian Rhapsody," here's Richie Castellano of BOC's one-man take on the song that's been going viral...Richie was a contestant in the Queen Extravaganza competition. He didn't make it, but he did make this video...441,000 views since it was posted a little over a month ago...
