I'm sure there is a thread somewhere on the ZB support forum asking about Tapatalk use for ZB forums. Apparently, there are no plans at the moment for ZB to be supported on Tapatalk. |

Smart phone browsers don't work the same as desktop/laptop browses. In thoses cases screen size and resolution are fixed and the browser is a window with in that space. Smart phones are many different sizes and when you have the browser open it becomes the entire screen. In that regard you can't make the browser bigger or smaller like you do on a desktop; so the auto sizing feature does not have the same effect. The smart phones browser is always one size and the auto sizing feature auto sizes to that one size and than its static after that. The feature that smart phones have is that you can zoom the screen in and out. This helps to make things bigger, but than requires the users to move back and forth across the page. Webpages that are optimized for mobile use make their left to right page size very small; making the content when displayed on a phone big with out the need to zoom in on it. |

I had a cell phone in my early 20s when they first came out (the real portable version that is) but soon gave it up because I never used it, and I simply didn't like it. For years after that I was the type to dislike cell phones, baffling everyone else around me who had one. Then for the same reason you got your own phone (children) I got one of these smart phones a few years ago. Now I find the cell phone to be one of the best inventions ever. It's like having a computer that fits into your pocket and is with you every where you go ... I use my cell phone 100x more than I use my home computer and I still rarly use it as a phone. In fact I'm typing this post from my phone right now while laying in bed while my baby daughter is asleep. To lazy to get up and go to the computer. Edited by Dandandat, Sep 16 2011, 03:00 PM.

I would imagine that Tapatalk is not a suitable solution for Zeta. Zeta offers free server and forum software use to all comers and makes money on advertising. They would most likely have to pay the company owns Tapatalk a lisence fee for every board they employ it on. That would get expensive. Zeta would be better off writing their own code for mobile use. But just as Zeta is not as good as the messages boards you could make if you actualy paid for server space and software so to would their mobile solution not be a good. |

Well, I guess you can add me to the list of folks that occasionally log in on a mobile device. We got an iPad for Christmas. Of course, the one using it the most is the 4-year-old! He loves the idea that he can watch all his Netflix videos anywhere in the house (or out and about!)... |

They say it tastes like chicken. ![]() I need to get an update over at Zathyus about their plans for a mobile version. Anything I create will probably not work that great anyway, so I think we will have to play the waiting game on this one. |

24th if you have a look at arch-angels I have a phone skin in place. Seems to work fairly well and I can probably still direct you to the threads on the resource board that I used |

It does work really well, I've accessed arch-angels once before via a phone, and it works very well. |

Thanks, but I'll go ahead and make a custom theme. That's actually an example of what kind I had originally planned to make in the past. There will be layout issues to contend with that must ultimately be addressed by a Zathyus made application, but I can still make a smaller stripped down theme for use that can at least be easy to load. |
