This book only came out this year. It got snapped up pretty quickly for its film rights. My local library carries it, so I've put a request in for it. |

Oh, another "robots that the world depends on suddenly rise up against human beings" movie ... how creative … I have an idea for Hollywood; how about a movie where a rogue shark threatens a sleepy ocean town in New England … or better yet a movie where a lost little alien crashes on earth and just wants to get home … or maybe a movie where robots that the world depends on suddenly rise up against human beings … or … ok ok, I won’t lie I’m just ripping these ideas off from other blockbuster movies, I guess I don’t really have what it takes to make it in Hollywood, I can’t pretend to be creative with a straight face. |

Definitely not a new concept. I guess the creative part will come into play (maybe) in the details and specific story-telling. |

Spielberg has put Robopocalypse on long term hold for now. Even though Chris Hemsworth and Anne Hathaway are on call for the leads, the film will be shelved until further notice. Some wonder if Spielberg has reconsidered directing Jurassic Park 4... |
